Default Hotel Preferance

Which one would you guys prefer to visit? The higher end hotel that offers lots of parking but the need to walk through a lobby and go up in an elevator OR a motel where you can park directly outside of the room but doesn't have much else in terms of ammenties or decor?

In terms of my own personal comfort, I'd lean toward direct access to the room. As long as the hotel is clean, not dumpy and my vehicle is secure I'm good with it. At that point I'll be thinking more about the lady anyway!

It's an interesting question Heather. I'd be curious as to the lady's thoughts on this as well.

I like the higher end, because you can "blend" in with the crowd more easily! The busier the better. But then again, if you are playing in your own "back yard" who knows who you might run into! Dress the part!

Default I'm the provider

I myself offer my in call's in a fully furnished apartment in a private gated complex in a fairly nice area in north Dallas. I have found this to be an asset as a provider because people always seem relieved to not have to go to a room when hotels are sometimes ify as they watch for such activaties. Also they tell me they are not worried about a pimp being around as there are many of the providers in motels with pimps hanging quite close.

Just my thoughts and experience...I suggest it to any provider. Hope this inspires or helps someone.

I would imagine your answer is somewhat based on your typical clientele's demographic.

Myself I prefer upscale hotels. I'm usually well dressed visiting a provider due to work and feel more inconspicuous in that environment.

I totally agree, private is always best...but that wasn't one of the options listed above.

It mystifies me how when provided a place where you can park directly in front of the room or within 1 spot over--where you can zoom out of your car and right into the room with the least amount of time out in public view....some gents park their car 2 or 3 rows back and will walk to the room. Talk about taking a chance for someone to spot you.

Yes I understand they might want to be hiding their car from view but when I look out in the lot, their car really isn't hidden at all. And if you had a wife who was looking for you or an investigator watching your car, your walking from the car to the room over a 50-60 feet jaunt compared to 8-10 feet gives the private eye or person who thinks they recognize you, MORE time to view your face or get a clothes description or more. Plus most times if someone spots your car from the road and thinks they saw you at a hotel, with a finer hotel that might have events going on inside, a bar or a restaurant, you can always use the excuse that you stopped in to meet someone for lunch or a meeting there.

Depending on how many cameras are inside the halls, elevator, or lobby, I now prefer inside, though if I DO do outside rooms, I usually ask if that type of hotel's okay with a gent. I also ask for ground floor so they can get in and out the quickest.

Years ago when I did outcall only...I saw a new investigation about a Red Roof Inn that I semi-frequented for outcall. I was amazed that the news was showing the people walking in and out the outside entrances to rooms they were watching or using as set up. I had just started in the business a year or two and kind of just then realized that people can be watching you from far away. Not like I didn't know it before, but sometimes it takes something to actually happen before it hits you, you know? News trucks can be hidden in the next door parking lot with cameras aimed at you. So that's exactly what was going on here and I thank goodness it wasn't ME on those cameras. I changed my M.O. after I saw that news cast in the way of outcalls.

It wasn't til many many years later that I finally started doing incalls and when I did, I started to lean toward inside entrances more and more. But as I said above, it all depends on how the hotel is laid out, how big it is, how many cameras, how many other hotels in area too. Depending on the type of town it is too, will depend on what type of hotel/motel is picked also.

Same with me. The only problem I seem to have with the smaller hotels is the heat. Other than that, the ones I've been to have actually been very nice.

My preference is a high end Hotel. They just seem cleaner and safer. Odds of running into someone you know at a Hotel are slim to none.

Tia,

I've often thought the same exact thing-like it kinda defeats the purpose of being able to park right in front of the room and walk all of 2 feet when you insist on parking on the other end of the lot but to each their own.

On a side note, I am surprised so far at the poll results with the majority being in favor of the higher end hotels. I thought for sure it would be the opposite as I've seen several posts on here from gents saying they don't like the more upscale places because it forces them to walk through a lobby, past front desk, up an elevator, past housekeeping, etc.....basically past too many people and cameras for comfort.

I am surprised by the poll results so far.

By my experience guys tend to NOT want to go through the front lobby ...they feel self conscious about being around too many people.

So I stay at a clean mid-grade motel still inside doors with other entrances for gents to come through to my room.

I answered basic accommodations on the assumption it was someone I had seen before. I'd just as soon she pocket the difference between the room and the fee. I'm there to see her, not the room.

I thought you had left the area Heather. If you did and you're back, welcome home.

I assumed most gents would feel as you do: that as long as there's a bed with a beautiful woman in it who needs ambiance? lol It is interesting to see that many feel the "extras" of a nice hotel are important. I'll definitely keep this in mind for future get togethers.

I've been here all along Bob but thanks for the warm embrace (figuratively for now and hopefully literally very soon )!

I have to agree with mwebber, I'm always dressed appropriately and act like I belong. The easy entrance places have some access advantages but again with cameras, they can always tell where you're going. The most important factor is to dress appropriately for the type of hotel you're visiting and blend in.

Most of the motels I've been to don't have outside cameras; generally there is only one-right above the front desk-as opposed to the multitude of cameras in the lobby, elevator and hallways of the bigger places. Part of the reason why they're cheaper is that they're not paying for a high-end security system with lots of equipment which I had been under the impression was to be avoided.
