came to his senses
The Ford Mustang Mach-E's sales have been slowing down, but the company is still trying to boost sales:
Sales
In 2021, the Mach-E sold 27,140 units, and in 2022, it sold 39,458 units. In 2023, it sold 40,771 units, which is a small increase from 2022. In the third quarter of 2023, the Mach-E sold 13,392 units, which was 57% of Ford's overall EV sales in that period. However, in January 2024, the Mach-E's segment share dropped to 17.1%, which was its lowest in nine months.
Price cuts
Ford has cut prices on the Mach-E to reflect the softening demand for EVs. The price cuts have led to increased sales, but some say that there are still concerns.
EV segment losses
Drill Baby DRILL!
Ford's EV segment, called Model E, is still accumulating losses. Ford expects to lose $5 billion to $5.5 billion in the EV segment for the entire year.

You have a better way finding a way to see if Willie Wanker is still here?
We had an intelligent convo going on about EVs and wanted to see how his was doing. Lot has transpired since then but instead of getting a reply from Willie Wanker as hoped, what usually happens here, the usual suspects reply contributing nothing, as usual...LOL

All cars EV and ICE are totaled after floods.
Snow storms are never an issue if you know what you are doing with an EV.
More ICE cars and trucks explode yearly like Molotov cocktails after rear-end collisions, or have fires than EVs.
Something EVs never have to fret about.

Big Oil propagandizes all they can to hurt EVs.
Still 1 million EVs and hybrids are sold in the USA in less than a year.
Quote:
Electric vehicle (EV) sales in the United States are increasing, but the rate of growth has slowed:
Q3 2024
In the third quarter of 2024, EV sales in the U.S. reached record highs, with an 8.9% share of sales. This was a 5% increase from the previous quarter and an increase from 7.8% in Q3 2023. However, the share of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in the light-duty vehicle (LDV) market fell from 8.1% in Q4 2023 to 7.0% in Q1 2024.
2023
In 2023, the U.S. sold a record-breaking 1.2 million EVs, a 46% increase from the previous year.
2024 outlook
BofA analysts expect EVs to make up about 8% of vehicle sales in 2024, 14% in 2027, and 29% in 2030.

EVs sales are helping to lower gas prices for the ICE folks, since they need NO gas or oil changes,.
Oil inventories are at record highs now, which of course pisses of our Oil Cartels.
