President Trump might very well be in jail or well on the way there before the 2024 election. The judicial process could cripple him during the primary campaigns. It is highly possible that he does not become the Republican Nominee.

What then?

What does that mean for the Biden campaign? Will President Biden be faced with running against a Republican who does not offend the sensibilities of suburban mothers who are just trying to teach their pre-school kids to not call each other "stupid" at the playground?

Will VP Harris be faced with a public comparison with a Republican VP Candidate, perhsps Nikkie Halie, who is also a mixed race minority, but unlike Ms. Harris, can communicate effetely and has a track record of competence in domestic and international public arena?

Sure: Go and put President Trump away. That might be the worst thing for President Biden an Democrfsts in general.

There is a video out there from last year where VP Harris paraphrases a portion of The Declaration of Independence and leaves out the "Life" part.

My thought, perhaps poorly expressed, is that if Mr. Trump is not the Republican candidate; Mr. Biden will have a much harder time of it.
