Default Bumping a Thread 101

Ok folks. Been gone for a decade or so, and slowly getting back in to this amazing, fun and decadent community. Some things haven’t changed, but I am noticing comments about Threads being Bumped, from like a week ago. Back before, Bumping a Thread meant commenting on a Thread that had basically been without a comment for 30+ days or more. Maybe its just folks being sarcastic or snarky, that’s still around, but what truly is Bumping a Thread these days?

No problem bumping threads.

Reviews are another story.

Studio promoters bumping reviews of their "preferred" studios and ladies is a whole other out of control issue.

Please refer to GL#12

Bumping a thread, no biggie, just bad etiquette.

Bumping a review/encounter where the LAST POST was 30 days or longer, NO.

The first offense is a warning.
after that, 5 point infractions. Remember children, 25 points gets an automatic 90 days off.

Some have confused Posting to a review that was posted over 30 days is the GL. but it's when the last post to that review/encounter was 30 days or longer.

#12 - In our review forums, be mindful of the 'maturity' of threads you are posting to, ie. the date of the last item posted. We ask that you refrain from posting to a review in which the last post was made 30 or more days ago. Some exceptions may apply if you are providing relevant, valuable or updated information about the provider, but as a general rule of thumb, this can best be accomplished by writing a new review altogether and avoiding the bumping of old ones. This applies to our review forums, in particular, as discussion threads are often allowed to flow for an unspecified length of time.
