So, the Russians are, for the moment, going to focus their forces on the East.

Satellite pictures show a huge Russian convoy once again strung out in the open.


Why in the fuck can’t we get the Ukrainians the weapons to make this a “road of death” killing every god damned Russian possible.

Or to the point, why didn’t we already have those weapons there.

Also, Stalin, (oops, my mistake, Putin), is sending his to Field Marshal called “the butcher of Syria” to take charge.

I can only hope there is a high caliber sniper round with his name on it.

It seems the Russians believe it is OK because the Ukrainians do not have control of the air.

If the Ukrainians had enough heavy long range artillery, they could make it a road of death. Of course, Javelines will take out anything the Russians have, but it is unsure if they are in a position to use what they have.

The Russians will probably do what they did in the west. Just destroy things with artillery and kill a lot of people. It seems their soldiers really don’t want to go up against the Ukrainians.

I agree with the internal conflicts, but Ukraine has now seen a chance to actually defeat the Russians.

That is, unless the Eastern Provinces do a about face and decide to align with Russia.

While it sounds like a mighty BIG IF, it's more of a nyet! They don't have it or the airspace control. The more intervention we insert at this point is mostly gonna reduce the Ukraine population.

BTW: The Ruskie artillery is, in some ways, a little superior to ours, at least in the ways they utilize it. I remain optimistic that we would have enough non-woke military leaders to know this and how to minimize losses to it. With enough lead time and determination to start WWIII, we might have superior numbers against them at some point, but that's a long shot to take with ultra high risks.

And let us not get panties in a wad over airspace dominance either. Ever hazard a guess why the whole free world is NOT tossing in aircraft there? Here's a hint: The Ruskie air handling is more than fair, it's very capable.

That's not how you'd use artillery... it would simply invite the Ukraine arty to get counter battery fire that would eliminate it

Supply It's a convoy not a tank column... so they are likely thin skin vehicles that can get eliminated with .5 cal fire. Thr Ukraines are not in a position to use any weaponry on the column because by definition it's behind the forward lines under controlled air space.
