Possible LE sting?

So this weekend I went to an incall at a hotel. I obviously didn’t get arrested or anything but when I left there was a LE vehicle parked outside. Not an undercover vehicle, but just a normal patrol car. How likely is it that they scanned my plates and will later come looking for me?

Unless you have BOLO out on you and they know what kind of vehicle you drive and license plate number, then you are good to continue seeing providers at hotel incalls. If it was a sting, then you would have been arrested in the hotel room before the session you supposedly had would never have taken place.

Cops do not randomly jot down plates of vehicles in hotel parking lots and see if the it's owner went there to see a hooker. Besides, unless you are in the middle of exchanging money for the act and the cop sees it, you are good.

Thank you for the reassurance. However, I think I’m going to avoid hotels for now on. Too much stress.

there is a system now in use in many cities where all the officer needs to do is use a hand held scanner for your tag. Reads it instantly and if there is a warrant--bang you are busted. Probably have you listed as an habitual and horny hobbyist.

Not much crime going on in Dallas right now. I'm certain there are LE at all hotels investigating guests who maybe purchasing pussy.

Natural to be worried. Bottom line, if you walk into a sting, you're going to jail. Not much you can do about it. It's a risk you have to take. Same reason I'm insistent on BBBJ, at the end of the day, if I wanted to be completely safe from everything that could go wrong... I would just save my money and not do this - has to be a payoff.

No need to worry, OP. LE frequently park in motel parking lots as their presence scares off thieves. The I-35 corridor has been a long-standing, huge problem from Denton to Waxahachie. And now that is a problem along any major thoroughfare in DFW.
Most of my best visits have been at hotels. (Thank you Black_Barbie and Dallas Doll!)

I can tell you from experience the police are not all that interested in hobbyist unless some politician is running on an anti prostitution platform that is gaining traction even then usually short lived.
