Trump campaign raises $20Mil in first virtual fundraiser.
A larger amount of money just wasted on a losing candidate...aren't these donors looking at the POLLS!!
Trump campaign raises over $20 million in first virtual fundraiser
By Mark MooreJuly 22, 2020 | 12:40pm | Updated
The Trump re-election campaign raised more than $20 million in its first virtual fundraiser that was hosted by President Trump’s son Donald Jr.
“Trump Victory’s groundbreaking fundraising record proves the American people are passionate about gaining four more years under President Trump’s strong leadership,” Trump Victory Finance Committee national chairman Kimberly Guilfoyle, who also co-hosted the event, said in a statement on Tuesday.
Guilfoyle, who is Donald Jr.’s girlfriend, said 300,000 donations led to the fundraising haul.
“Across the nation, the SILENT MAJORITY are coming together to donate their valuable time and hard-earned money to help make this President’s re-election a reality,” she said. “The most important measure of success in this race is enthusiasm, and the enthusiasm from President Trump’s supporters cannot be matched.”
The take from the virtual fundraiser outpaced the $14 million raised on Trump’s birthday, during a campaign push on June 14.
It also swamped fundraisers former Vice President Joe Biden held last month.
He raised $7.6 million during a virtual event with former President Barack Obama and $6 million with Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
But Biden and the Democrats won the fundraiser battle in the third quarter, bringing in $282 million compared to the $266 million by Trump and Republican groups.
Still, Trump has an edge in cash on hand over Biden, with $292 million in the bank at the end of June.
Biden has $242 million.

Not sure what the point is. Trump has a little more money on hand than Biden. Trump has been spending it in battleground states like Florida, where all indications are he is losing to Biden. At the current time.
Without Florida, Trump has little chance of victory. He won't win any states Clinton won in 2016. If he loses Florida, Biden only has to win one other state like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, or NC to win the election and the odds are high he will do so.
On Sunday, we will be 100 days from the election. That is not a long amount of time. Trump's approval rating is 40.3%. At the same point in time in 2012, Obama's approval rating was 47.3%. If Trump is to win, something has to occur, whether it be a negative by Biden or a positive for Trump, to move that number in the right direction. Like polls or not, the presidential approval rating has been 100% accurate since it started under Truman.

Side Side Note: The approval ratings have been 100% accurate thus far in determining whether or not the incumbent POTUS seeking reelection wins or loses.
By-product of the liberal media or not.
Trump currently -15.4% according to 538. -13.9% according to RCP.

the point is if Trump is so unpopular why is he raking in cash? "everyone" hates Trump so why would anyone donate to his campaign?
and that event you are looking for will happen. when Joey debates Trump. and Biden must debate him. even Chung Tran knows Biden will fall on his face against Trump. he'll vote for Trump again and he knows it.

What the OP fails to realize is that it was that silent majority that went to the polls in massive numbers to make certain Trump was elected, and they very well may do that again this November ..... and I don't believe the polls ever demonstrate that much accuracy either, of course with most of them coming from the dipshit media, what do you expect them to show? ..... surely they can't show Trump leading of course .....

Don't you know the debates aren't going to matter "THIS TIME"...SPEED said as much. He said in 2016 they did, but not this time...just depends on what's expedient for him. Do I hear filp-folp?? SPEED knows the debates are going to be a disaster for bitten...can't have that!!

Between the Democrat governor, lieutenant governor, and the attorney general all being in scandals in Virginia, plus the very draconian COVID-19 response in that state, I gotta think Virginia is in play. Trump may not take it, but it won't be a walk in the park for Biden.

It is my opinion, just as it was your opinion quite a while ago that Trump would win all the states he won in 2016 plus Minnesota and NH.
My opinion is based on 2016 results, which were close, and what has happened since then in those 2 states. In 2018 midterms, Democrats easily won control of the Minnesota House by winning an additional 18 seats. Klobuchar easily was reelected to the Senate. Poll released this week has Biden +13. NH remains a possible Republican win but doubtful at this time.
I KNOW Trump will not win several states, NY and California among them. I KNOW Biden will not win several states like Arkansas, WV, SC, and most of the mid-west. At the current time I am throwing Minnesota and NH in the Biden column. Results in 102 days may prove me wrong.

Trump has his strong base who are willing to contribute vast sums of money in his support. Biden, without enthusiastic supporters, has been outraising Trump over the last 2 months.
The debates will be interesting. We have Biden and the question as to whether or not he will make any major gaffes. We have Trump who will now have to defend his 3 1/2 years in office and won't have the ability to just ignore questions as he does in meetings with reporters. Chris Wallace, in my opinion, made quite the fool of Trump earlier this week. The same could happen in the debates.
Latest poll in Florida has Biden up 13 points. Polls by FOX News released yesterday have Biden +11 in PA, +13 in MN, and +9 in Michigan. Good luck!!!

You could be correct. The COVID-19 response seems to be having a major negative impact on Trump's odds in Florida and could have an impact in other states, Virginia included.
