Friend for the day

Hi all,

This is my second trip to Tijuana. I spent my first trip largely at Hong Kong and enjoyed myself.

I plan to return near the end of the month. I was wondering. Has anyone had experience hiring a "friend for the day?" I would love to have a companion to walk around Tijuana, enjoy dinner and then retire to my room.

I did ask for a companion to do a tour, dinner and then to hotel.

Ended up being dinner and hotel.

She set me up with someone that speaks English and has a car. I saw her on a return trip as well.

Who decided to skip the tour? Was that a mutual decision or did you decide to forego the tour when you saw your tour guide?
