Default My neighbor...

Neighbor: One who got laid off her job and knows everybody in the effing building.

Three floors on my apartment (don't worry I am getting ready to move) but this ass knows everyone. I told her to write an apartment newsletter, she stays out of my business!!!!!!!!

What else do I do?

Am I wrong? Get a life......

Let's recap: Your neighbor got laid off. She knows everyone in your building. She stays out of your business so you tell her to write a newsletter.

I'm not sure I totally understand what you are asking.

I don't even speak to my neighbors and they rarely even see me.. the less they know about me, the better. Keep to yourself in your next place, and all will be just fine!

I would love for the day a nosey neighbor gets in my business! I have been waiting for the longest time to tell someone that I am a sex addict/swinger. Can you imagine the looks I would get LOL!

You told her to write a newsletter and you told her to stay out of your business?! EEK!

Try the opposite approach: kindness.

Smile and make nice.

Be proactive. In other words, chit chat with her and mention your consulting business or whatever your cover story is.

Commiserate with her over the loss of her job. Tell her you miss working in a regular office and the water-cooler talk, etc.

Bake her brownies. Compliment her on the beauty/athleticism/brilliance of her children or her well-behaved dog. Make friends with her dog.

If you make friends with her and always greet her with a smile and open attitude, she'll approach YOU when she notices something odd she wants to ask you about.

If you make an enemy of her, she will just watch more closely and look for any excuse to report you to MANAGEMENT or even LE.

...and yes, you need to move to some place with a more discreet set up.

Default My Neighbor....

I guess I did not explain it well enough:

Said Neighbor has been laid off since she has moved in. I told her to tell her nosey ass boyfriend that is NOT to look into my windows and stay out of my buiness. Spying for a better term. Looking in my sliding glass window and it was obvious.

I never told her she should write a newsletter for the apartments, but she might as well go ahead and do it.

If she tells be everybody else's business in my building, why would she would not share my business with everyone as well?

Just saying, I mind my business. I was an apartment manager for 7 years, nothing against the law for having over "friends".

Love you guys!!!!!!!!!

brooke, sorry you got some damn nosy neighbors!!

here's a thought - put your TV where that's all he can see when he peeks in, put a porn video on, turn the volume up a bit, and then put a "BUSTED" sign on the window he'd be looking in!! and then ask her if he's introduced any new sex positions/techniques on her.

[warning attempted humor]
if she's attractive and sexy, let her know how she can get over her being laid off by advertising that she'll provide intimate consulting to guys while her BF peeks in their apt's windows!!
[/warning attempted humor]

hope it gets better for you!!!

Default sorry to hear

Get the hell outta there.
9 times outta 10 the girls who get into "trouble" are due to nosey azz neighbors. Sometimes it's a pain in the ass to move, but in order to salvage your business and stay out of potential trouble, it's worth it.

...Or find your neighbor a 9-5 job! lol

Having a peeping tom is not a good thing.

Just because you only caught him once does not mean he has not been doing it more often. Or to other females in your complex. We have an expectation of privacy in our homes and apartments.

If I were you, I'd talk to the apartment manager first and if he is not on the lease, he can get a trespass placed on him where he can't be on the property without being arrested.

It might seem harmless and maybe it is but why take a chance?

Get a pic of him peeping thru the window and then go to the apt manager with it. If this is also your incall location, I would stop all extracurricular activities there if I were you before I escalated the issue.

When in doubt, do what Honey Rose tells you to do. Always.

Give that nosy neighbor something to look at alright. Let her houseguests catch you taking a piss. Neighbors love that, lol. You have the right to do whatever you want on your own property.
