Newbie?

I will be in Baton Rouge in August (10th & 11th) for work. Do you "vets" know if there is a "newbie" friendly provider that would see me?! I have never seen a provider before! I can give work information for screening and/or my work website (my name is listed on there cause I am the site administrator). Not to sure how all this works so I thought I would ask you guys. I see something about P411, however, I'm not what you would call a "full time hobby guy" (living up north where I do. This hobby is just not here) plus being married is kinda hard to dabble all the time, if you know what I mean!! Any help/guidance would be great!
