I was particularly impressed with the statistic that "Almost three in four of the sex buyers reported they learned about sex from pornography, whereas only 54 percent of the non-buyers did so." So, let's guess, 70% learned about sex from porn versus 54%. Big difference, huh? And that is what these guys admit.

Of course whenever a national research firm calls me to ask about my habits, I've always been a "non-buyer." (Just in case it is an investigator hired by a former SO.)

It's all statistics, the research is useless.
It's like saying that people who get into car accidents are more likely to be drivers.
Here...
ASSUMPTION: If it's true that people who commit crimes are more likely to pay for sex than those who don't, then this research will always come up with the same result.
Because if you take a sample of 100 people who pay for sex, you will have more people in that group that commit crimes than if you take a 100 people who do not pay for sex.
Therefore, if you agree with the above assumption, the statistics will be true that people who pay for sex will be more likely to commit crime.
This is not a "study", it's a propaganda piece.
Even if their statistics are accurate, the article is written to present a causal relationship between buying sex and crime.
