I get that Viagra was a medicine for heart ailments, and its side effects were discovered to be beneficial.

as the article states Viagra was partially denied the patent because parts of the viagra component was too similar to HGW component.

I don't know about its patent. I've tried Viagra. My former wife was a Pharmacy Technician and she was able to get a sample pack from a rep one time it was almost expired there was only four in it. I think anyone can get some benefit from it but its really for those who truly have a clinical problem. Iam 53 now at that time I was in my mid 40's I don't have ED or anything like that. But as we age sometimes ya can get sexually lazy, lol.
