What is the Best Steakhouse in Dallas?
Help me, I need to sink my teeth into a rare steak asap. Fine dining or casual, any price point. Dry aged 90+ is preferred. And open late night 10pm-midnight.
I’ve been to the solid chain restaurants (Ruth Chris, del Friscos, etc) which are good but I’d like try something independently owned, if there are any highly recommended ones.
Greater DFW and North
Thanks for helping a hungry traveler,
Jane

Knife and Bobs are the best. Knife has some really long aged steaks and Bobs is an institution and throw back to the early 80s. Town hearth is suppose to be incredible. Dallas is a steak town, so most nice places have steak (check out the florentine at Sachet). Corrientes downtown is also great, its an argentinian favorite.

I looked for a steakhouse thread, couldn’t find one but I didn’t go back more than 6 months.
Anyway, I went to Sēr. It was delicious. Definitely going to check out Bobs and Knife another time. There seem to be many solid options in Dallas and most serve until 10:30/11pm on the Fri/Sat. My kinda town.
Thanks everyone for keeping my monster fed 🥩🥩🥩

Op - these threads traditionally list about 3 choices that constantly show up as the best.
Here's a respectful document on the subject:
https://www.dmagazine.com/publicatio...-in-dallas-01/
Note this article was published in 2011 and newer ratings have KNIFE and BOB'S rated at the top.
But, I have to agree, Pappas Bros Steakhouse gets my vote as the best in town.
That Metropolitan Grill in your home town is pretty good too !

Well, my atf is, and has been for years, Lawry's The Prime Rib in Addison. Not sure if it is classified a steak house but an awesome good place to eat and eat very well.

Pappas is really good, atmosphere and service first class! Executive budget.
Bubbas in Ennis has fantastic steaks, much more blue-collar budget.
