I was a register member under the ID Burkes, and when verizon cancelled their email services I was forced to get a new email address. I updated it and then I couldnt log in. Not sure what happened.

So I decided to create a new account using my new ID and new email address, but I notice that when I open up the Upstate NY category none of the icons are highlighted. They all appear as if they are closed.

I can open them and view and read, but I wonder why it looks different?

It may look different because the cookies are not tracking new threads for you yet. That is to say, if you log out today...and log back in tomorrow, the threads that have new posts since your last log-in will be dark blue and the threads with no new posts will be faded....indicating the difference.

Check your Pm's about the old handle.
