Other websites
Do you use any other websites besides ECCIE? Like P411 and TER? I try to look up all the information I can find on a provider before meeting one, but the other two sites seem to push you towards paying for their service much more than ECCIE. I've tried writing reviews on TER, but they get rejected, do they only accept reviews from paying costumers or are they just finicky with what they accept and what they reject?

My ECCIE Reviews

From what I've heard, if you are a first time reviewer on TER or your handle isn't all that recognizable, the reviews you submit may be rejected. Which is tricky because how does one get established in an online community if their legitimacy keeps being rejected just because they are new.
With that said, though reviews can be an important way to discern if a companion is upstanding, hobby culture isn't everything. Keeping an eye out for escorts with an engaging and active web presence who put a lot of care and intention into how they present themselves is something to look out for. Blogs, newsletters, and even Twitter can be great ways to gain insights straight from the source!
Happy searching,
~Lena

I am a member of TER and P411 and have been for 7 years. I am a new member of Eccie.
I use P411 and TER quite differently than I use Eccie. Since I'm new to Eccie, I am still feeling it out, but I can say the following for sure, based on my experience:
1) Eccie is really, really good for New Mexico. In a few short months, I have a good feel for the community, the personalities of the reviewers and the quality of the ladies. If you don't travel, I think Eccie is enough.
It is also a much friendlier board than TER. It is fun to be on Eccie and the people here seem to like each other. TER is for doing business. If you want to participate in the discussions on TER, bring your big-boy pants -- it can get a little rough over there. Unnecessarily so, IMO.
2) P411 is great for three things -- verification with ladies you want to meet, it gives a very good list of traveling ladies coming to town, and it gives a second, condensed source of information on local women.
By far the most important of these is the verification. I can't stress enough how easy P411 makes it to get a date with quality ladies. Honestly, in this hobby, with very few exceptions you get what you pay for. It is a risky hobby, and dangerous in many ways. Lots of women will take your money and get you off, but the safer, classier, more fun women want to know something about you before you walk through their door. My experience is that it makes a huge difference in the value of the experience. P411 helps a ton with that value.
3) TER is better out of New Mexico than Eccie, not because of the quality of the information but because it is laid out differently. It is very easy and very quick to search for quality escorts on TER if you have a business trip out of town. The local Eccie board (say in Phoenix) may be a great board, but Eccie needs time and commitment to use properly. A few quick minutes on the TER search feature and you have 5 or 6 quality options in your price range that will all be a good time.
As far as TER reviews, if you follow their rules you will not have any problems. I have about 40 reviews on TER and I've been rejected maybe four or five times. Most times, the fix is quick and painless -- I've never had a review rejected the second time. Read the rules before you write the review and follow them -- you won't have any problems.
And yes to your second question -- P411 and TER seem more businesslike and profit-oriented (the TER guys have to be making a ton of $$) and Eccie seems more like a community. But I bet the Eccie guys are doing well also -- I certainly hope so because the service is very valuable.

Thanks for the info Diego. I think Lina is probably right that if you are new to TER they are much more likely to reject your reviews. Which is weird, because I had a provider white list me on TER, but I cannot view my white list or even send and receive messages because I don't pay for their services and can't get a review credit. It kind of turns me off to the whole site to be honest. The verification is nice, but at the same time I don't want to give my personal information to these sites. Not that I don't trust the site itself, but what happens if the site gets raided?

And there are enough recent examples of that happening, Des.

TER, ECCIE and P411 pretty much.
Might not be terrible to have a look on Eros too.

I'm new to NM. Been on eccie for years (lost a previous handle/pw) and have had p411 since close to its inception. I agree with all that Diego said. TER wasn't valuable in Austin but will have to check it out for NM.

TER is not great for NM. If you have TER premium already, then there is a little additional info on TER that might not be easy to find on Eccie. (you can find the same info on Eccie -- it's just not as easy) If you don't have TER premium, IMO it is not worth the $$ to buy it just for NM. Eccie is way better for NM.

What's with backpage anyway? Are most adds fake or stings etc.? You see a lot more adds on backpage than you do on ECCIE or TER, some are obviously fake picks, others look legitimate but there is no review.

No recent examples. I'm just extra careful.

Thanks, Diego. Guess I won't spend the money on ter. Disappointing to believe there's apparently so little hobbying going on in NM, esp. Santa Fe.

Since TER was sold a while back their customer focus has gone down hill.
I agree they are laid out better, and the search is better, but the review ussues are real. I have quite a few there, going back over a decade. But since they really don't allow/encourage repeat reviews of a lady--even after 5 or 8 years--it becomes less hospitable to thise if us who tend to prefer longer term relationships. And once you have not had a review for a while, they give your reviews the same kind of sceptical scrub they do a new member. I think the last 3 or 4 I submitted there were rejected with no specific reason, "just because". So I essentially stopped submitting. Sad, really. And self-detrimental on their part.

I use TER, Eccie and P411. When I'm in Albuquerque, I tend to get the most requests via p411.
