Plain old fact facts
Since 1974 everything that becomes a political scandal has had "gate" attached to it. Monica-gate, Stripper-gate, Hooker-gate, etc. Why? Because of the Watergate breakin and subsequent cover up. What was the Watergate breakin? A team of operatives operating under G. Gordon Liddy but without the knowledge of Richard Nixon broke into the DNC headquarters to find documents compromising the democrat party. Pretty bad huh? Of course, many legal scholars have written that Nixon would never have been convicted in a real court of law. The evidence that he gave orders just wasn't there.
Okay, what are talking about in 2017? That Obama used government resources to surveil a political appointment for the purposes of getting something on him, his people, or his party. Since Trump operated pretty much outside the norm for the GOP it is a stretch to think that Obama would get something on say....Ryan, McConnell, or another establishment republican. What we are left with is the ultimate paranoid fantasy (and yet it came true) of a sitting president using the resources of the either the CIA, the NSA, or the FBI among 13 other intelligence agencies to spy on Americans. Not just any Americans but political opponents.
Well hell...this blows ANYTHING like Watergate right out of the water. Like comparing a typical drone strike explosion to a nuclear explosion. More and more evidence is coming out that Obama's people did it. Now Nixon only had a team that was not part of the government apparatus and it was only alledged (but never proven) that the IRS was used to monitor activities of Americans. We know that Obama DID use the IRS to monitor political opponents and then stepped in to prevent discovery (the coverup).
So...some day soon, we may discover whether the democrats are good party people or good Americans. They won't be able to be both.

ya know facts can be stubborn things, unless you lie about it so much it becomes an alternate truth.

you see, truth is not, repeat NOT, a liberal value
the only problem is....
dimocrat corruption and dimocrats misusing the departments of government as compared to Nixon...
has to be exponentially worse,
not just somewhat worse, not just 10 times worse....
but so bad, like the difference between having your whole body ravaged by cancer compared to cutting your toe nail a tad too short .....
and the evidence has to be so open and exposed and there has to be wholesale guilty pleas of the culprits with all of Obama's minions turning on him
because the dimocrats stick together and the news media ignores anything concerning dimocrats and hollywood wont make a movie about it
before this will get anywhere much beyond conservative discussion panels

Have you ever truthfully presented a set of facts?
I mean real facts, not jdouche facts.
Your conclusions might fly with trump's bent truth brigade....well, not might, it will, wire "tapp" and all.

No one disputes that Richard Nixon covered up the June 1972 burglary at the Democratic National Committee's headquarters at the Watergate complex. But Nixon claimed he didn't know about the break-in in advance, or order it. But, on June 20, 1972, three days after the crime, Nixon, in a tape-recorded conversation with H.R. Haldeman, his chief of staff, said: "My God, the committee isn't worth bugging, in my opinion. That's my public line." The implication seemed that his private belief may have differed. And Nixon admitted in his memoirs that he saw nothing wrong with such burglaries.
In 2003, Jeb Stuart Magruder, a White House aide, stated that in a March 1972 meeting he heard Nixon, speaking through the phone to John N. Mitchell, Nixon's campaign chairman, authorizing the Watergate break-in. Previously, however, Mr. Magruder had discussed that same meeting without noting Nixon's participation in the phone conversation. Unless tapes or documents yield more evidence, the question will remain unanswered.

I believe it was Archibald Cox who said years later that he didn't have the evidence to prove Nixon knew about anything prior to it happening and he would not have gotten a conviction in a regular courtroom.
