Hotel and Area Suggestions for 1st time in Hattiesburg?

Mila here.. Heading to Hattiesburg in the next couple of weeks for a day or so and thought I would ask about... Where and what hotels are ideal? Any suggestions?

Would appreciate some input.

We have several places on 49 but if u are looking for places u can walk to eat, we have some off 59 to 98. they are walking distance to hooters, outback or buffalo wild wings.
