Providers posting ads without naming a city.....
It seems a bit crazy to me why providers post ads in the Mississippi forum ,and don't specify which city they will be hosting in.
Either they are trying to drum up business, or they are oblivious to the fact that this makes them look bad...

I think they're doing to see which city wants them the most. That, or they fucked up.

Some times it's just a mistake, especially for ladies visiting from states that have city forums. Some times they ask where you guys want to see them. And, some times they're just fishing.
If I see an ad that has no location, I will usually send them a PM and ask if they want me to edit the ad with the city. If they answer, I help them out. Just one of the things we mods do.
In general, we will make any edits to posts, reviews, ads, etc that the OP asks us to do. You can only edit your own posts for an hour - after that, a mod has to do it for you.

More than likely, it is a definite intention that they want to visit MS, but want to see which city expresses the most interest.
Who wants to waste money and time in a city that gets no bookings?

I don't have a problem with providers fishing for business, but I prefer the ads that basically say that. The problem with the practice in general is that if you want to see a lady and have to wait a few days to see if she's going to visit, that"s time lost setting up an appointment with someone else.

True, and understandable.
What you could do, if you have an expressed interest in a possible visiting lady to that state, is PM her and ask her what cities she is leaning toward. Express interest in her and make it worth her while hun.

Omg that frustrates me to my core. When I see an ad that doesn't mention a city, I want to pull my hair out. It comes across as cluelessness.

Some will say, "in town for the night", or " here for a few days"
What town? Where ??

Lmao, you guys are terrible and whiny.
Dang, check her showcase. If she had a website, more than likely she will list on her calendar.
Or just simply ask her.
Easy peesy!

Correct ad
Here's an example of the kind of ad I would like to see:
Bad --- "SeasonedMuse coming to Mississippi for a few days"
Good --- "SeasonedMuse coming back to JACKSON again for a few days"!

I agree with SeasonedMuse, if you see a provider who posts a "fishing" threAD, LET HER KNOW you're interested. Either in the threAD or by sending her a message.
The days of simply going on tour and being booked solid are gone, now its about prudent planning.

I just write her off, I made an appointment with a lady that said she was coming to Biloxi with specific dates and apparently not enough money here for her, so she canceled and what is bothersome is that another lady was in town and I passed on her due to my obligation to the first lady. She emailed me a few hours before appt. to cancel.
So, even if city is in ad, still not guaranteed. I just leave those ladies alone, if no city mentioned, I do not ask. If she cannot advertise specifically, what does that say about her reliability. Just my two cents.
