Ok I get it, you don't trust the media. So hold your comments on that topic. Also please avoid using the word liberated,it is stupid. The question is with the attempts to marginize the media, and Trump's open hatred. Are we on a path to a state run media,. Using twitter we are getting a controlled news source without any check. This is bad..what do you think?

The media is dishonest. Plain and simple.

So don't believe them today when they report that the Dow hit 20,000. (Thank you, President Trump!)

No you are missing the point. If we all receive are information from Trump's twitter account he can control what we are told. That is state run media. That is not how a free society work. He can control what he type, it is just we should not take it as gospel.

Did you complain that Obama "can control what we are told" when he used a twitter account or the White House bully pulpit? Now that he is President, Trump can continue to use his twitter account or the White House website or hold a press conference to get his message across. Just as Obama could and did. How is that all of a sudden a threat to our free society?

Of course he can control what he types into his twitter account! That's his First Amendment right! Do you want to take away his right to speak his mind just because: 1) he's now President and 2) you find his message to be less agreeable than Obama's message?
