I know that in some towns,like Springfield & Columbia,backpage was a major revenue for escorts

Once again it appears it's the old cut off your nose to spite your face attempt with pressure from the government.

It's the same guy who took down the craigslist adult section 10 or so years ago.

BP actually has the support of Uncle LEO and his friend who drives a GTO Judge.

This may be nothing more than a show trial or kangaroo court. Let it run it's course and see how long this lasts.

There is a lot of legal precedent to support them staying in business. But yeah, depending on city, bp may be the only place to go. And I've been to places like Columbia, MO.

My all-time favorite provider(who is no longer with us) used BP for years. But I agree, it is a scary place. Too many chances to run into LE, bait-and-switch, seedy providers. But I did see one of our veterans posting there last week.

I really liked BP for Nebraska and other small(er) markets but ECCIE has been pretty good too for it as well as P411 and TER having an ad board now for Nebraska so all isn't lost. It is good that for however long it lasts ladies can post in the massage or dating section of any given city. I've heard it's crazy in some higher volume markets (meaning with lots more providers) like Dallas, NYC etc etc etc where it's like 10-12 pages in the massage and dating section in 1 day lol (because it's like 1 buck to post your ad to the top).
