Hobby ethics as they relate to "managers"
What is your preference between seeing a companion who is actually independent versus someone who shows signs of being managed? How much does this affect your decision making process? Or if you notice, do you not care at all just as long as a managed provider has great reviews and delivers on point service? To clarify, I'm not referring to escorts who work for reputable agencies. Upstanding agencies which are operated by knowledgeable and caring adult industry experts who use solid tactics to market those who work for them in an advantageous manner, ensure that the sex workers are well paid, and most importantly emotionally and physically safe are important aspects of the demimonde. What I'm speaking to is when a verified provider account is being run by more than one set of eyes and hands. I do think there is something irksome about the lack of transparency. And I wonder about the ethical and safety implications of such disingenuous actions.
To my fellow companions, how do you feel about Verified Provider accounts being run by a provider who's getting a little or a whole lot of help from another party? When you see this, does it raise questions and concerns for you? As an example, if I have potential overlapping clientele with a provider who has a friend running her accounts (on here, email, etc) how can I trust that when a gent offers her as a reference that it would be her and not the other party who would be responding to me? What if the managed provider and the other party accessing her accounts have a low bar when it comes to safety strategies?

I take it on a case by case basis.
If "management" has a solid reputation of treating the talent well I don't care but I certainly wouldn't use the girl as a reference. The young chicks who would have terrible tcb skills if left to their own devices who are here for three weeks to make vacation money then leave come to mind.
If management is....abusive or emotionally manipulative I would rather not have them around. Those guys don't understand that the talent is an investment that should be protected and kept happy so they stay of their own volition.
There are plenty of women who are willing to pay a fee so they don't have to deal with the administrative side of this business. I've contemplated running an agency myself but to be frank, the headache of dealing with flaky girls would drive me insane.

My policy is to see only mature independents. Many gentlemen have the temperament to deal with managers, assistants, drivers, companions, brothers, friends, etc. I do not. At the first indication that a lady is not working alone I usually redirect my interest elsewhere.

Lena, I make no pretense that I am a "typical" guy on here. I value the whole person interaction with the ladies I see, and I admit I have become friends with the majority of those I see more than once or twice. That only works if there is a certain amount of trust going both ways.
If I sensed that a lady is being covertly managed/pimped I would find that trust near impossible and I would be very unlikely to see her. If the management is transparent--along the lines of the "upstanding agency" you mention, then I would have much less apprehension and more willing to consider things on a case by case basis.

I appreciate your input SA Angel. I didn't know if it was inappropriate of me to feel ways about not trusting a reference from a provider who is working with an undisclosed manager. But safety is of the utmost importance.
And every once in a while, I do think about the convenience of making use of an assistant's services (with full transparency). I doubt I ever will because I don't want to sacrifice my voice when it comes to corresponding with a gent leading up to an encounter.

Yes-or-No depends. If the "management" does not intrude on the pre-event set up process or the session itself, then probablyh yes.
If the management intrusive or acts as an intermediary—then no. Who gets the donation and who checks the time has got to be the provider or I am more and more uncomfortable and likely to not book the session or actually bolt .

I have no problems with legitimate agencies that provide advertising and screening. I would never see a provider if I think there is a chance they are being "pimped". I have no patience for someone who preys on a girls weakness, epploits them and treats them poorly. I would never give my money to some jacksss driving a caddie feeding some poor girls addiction.

How would the client know?
I have been with pimped women in the past and there is no way that I could know it.

Pimped
The one I had sessions with that was pimped could have gotten a way with it had I not found them together. I was a naïve newbie and bought her story hook line and sinker. Several other pimped women were introduced as being with their boy friends. Through that provider I was introduced two three other providers in Dallas that were pimped but they were passed off as boy friends or drivers.

I'd prefer for her not to be managed. If for no other reason, because I want her to get all the money. Her manager didn't do anything for me, she did. But also concerns about safety I suppose. Plus it seems like LE especially relishes busts with pimps involved, at least in my area. And if we're talking about communications I really don't like the idea that the person I'm texting or PMing with (for example) isn't her but is represented as such. Not that I'd say anything sexual. It's just creepy.
I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that if I think she's managed, I'll go elsewhere. Of course I realize that there are some ladies I see who are managed and I'll never know.

I wonder if after the fact, not that I assume that you are inclined to share, when looking back if there are any hints or clues than can be gained. But I guess that's why they say hindsight is 20/20.

It is the case that a provider may be assisted by her partner or others in her life who care about her. This totally makes sense. If people are in a loving relationship, they would be inclined to help and support each other.
And it is also the case that many reputable escorts hire auxiliary creative and administrative service providers on a temporary or maybe even ongoing basis (web designers, consultants, photographers, assistants, or drivers). So I don't mean to imply that just because a lady may have someone around her that she is definitely being exploited. It's very tricky, but to me, I guess it's a matter of power dynamics and who is in control.
This is very intimate work and it's one thing if a provider hires someone and pays them an equitable and appropriate fee for their services to help make her life more convenient. And it's a whole other thing if a provider is being ran and controlled by someone who is leeching off of her and compelling her to fork over the majority of what she makes.

These concerns all make sense to me Spanky. These are things I was wondering about.

Most of what you reference above, Lena, I would consider employees, not management. I get that and I'm cool with that.
I'm also cool with a girl working for or with an agency in order to benefit from promotion, screening, scheduling and the like. As long as it's her choice to share revenues for those benefits and support, it's all good.
What I don't want is for any of my money to be going to a pimp who will take advantage of and abuse the girl.
