From the article and for now it sounds as if it could be a case of her OD'ing and someone dumping her body. Doesn't look like she was touched at all.

She was found wrapped in a hotel blanket with no apparent injuries, police said. It is unclear how she died or how she got there.


"There’s no indication of trauma, either gunshot wound or stab wounds," Klementich said. "(There is) no indication she was strangled at this point."

Sounds like she's had run-ins with patrol cops in the area.
