TIPS AND SECRETS TO BETTER HOBBYING!
Gent's here is a place to share the things you have learned along the way. Please feel free to post those little nuggets of wisdom other's may not have thought of.
I will get us started:
ANON'S GUIDE TO SECRET HOBBYING
First, get yourself an actual hobby. You should especially target a given area that your SO shows no interest in. In fact, make it something that bores or abhors her. Transfer that to activity on eBay. Get a Paypal account with a ATM card and credit card for them, and a savings account dedicated solely to that. Make sure you have plenty of artifacts to serve as proof props laying around the house (ie. coins, stamps, comic books, beer cans, trains, etc.). Keep your account stuff stored in a box mixed in with all the other "boring" paperwork of your "hobby." Heck she will probably even suggest you get a cabinet or freestanding closet to keep all that "shit" from being scattered about the house. If the hobby includes valuables, like coins, now you have a reason to keep a lock safe.
PLUS! Now you have:
1) A beard (alibi) for occasional out of town trips with hotel stays (hobby conventions).
2) A "secret" banking account.
3) A "secret" credit card.
4) Two ATM cards (comes in handy for larger withdraws for HDH and duos)
5) A wire transfer service.
6) A cash generator (if you are smart you can resell and make a profit).
7) A way to to hide any transaction, or excuse any discovered transaction with a reasonable excuse that will make it even easier because her eyes glaze over whenever you start talking about your Pez Dispenser collection and the convention in Louisville, Kentucky next weekend!

This may seem very insignificant BUT I have had clients who purchased gift certificates for their SO for massages!
Sounds crazy, huh? Well, I AM a licensed therapist and leave business cards here and there so well, you can figure it out.
There is never any suspicion if my name or number appears anywhere because you come to see me and SHE comes to see me and what happens in my room STAYS in my room! I have actually acquired a few regulars this way!
Another school of thought is to check your health plan to see if massage is covered. I would be HAPPY to provide you with a receipt so you can submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Hey, it's ALL good!

Wow!
That is wonderful.
There was a lady here in Ohio that was going around as a tantric instructor. She was an ordained "priest" in a registered coven or something like that, anyway, her sessions were covered as religious practices and even past the litmus case twice in Ohio. Each time they legal action it was dismissed. That was a while ago. I think she retired. She was called Raven Goddess or something like that and offered tantric sessions with a variety of "lingum releases."
I like yours even better VNURSE!

Probably goes without saying, but......
1) Have a secret hobby e-mail acct i.e. gmail, hotmail, etc
2) Have a hobby cell phone-- preferably a disposable one.

I just regularly pull out a larger amount of cash at the ATM. Matter of fact, recently, one of the ATMs that I go to raised their "quick cash" amount which is what I usually do. I skim off $20 bucks at a time and store it. Or if I haven't used the previous withdrawal, I will still withdraw the same amount allowing to store the remainder.
I have a side business that I try to get paid in cash or usually it is a one time thing so I will cash the check instead of putting in the bank. I keep my finances a little vague through using a credit card for many normal things that you would usually use cash and paying it off in large chunks monthly.
I do tell the providers that of this particular business on the side and if there were any questions as to why we met, I was interviewing a potential client. - Quite a thorough interview lots of items touched upon - I also take that chance to offer my services to her, which means I am actually doing an interview.
Because this is a side business thing that anyone might hire me for, I have a reasonable excuse for all odd phone numbers to come up. So I haven't found the need to use a hobby phone.

I always have a few changes of clothes in my car. During my day job, they come in handy if I have to meet a client for dinner(work) or go on a dinner date(hobby).
Firefox has a private browsing function. Very handy for surfing.
Because of my job, getting phone calls from new numbers is the norm. So, no need for a "hobby" phone. It's one more thing if accidentally left out, would raise a question.

Jake...that's good for phone numbers, but remember that some providers tend to text these days. So, one of the reasons for maintaining your security is just in case...you get an off-the-wall text from a provider at an inconvenient time. And, what if they leave a voice message about a particular appointment...and your SO *happens* to stumble on it...then what? You see what I mean? These are the reasons for a hobby phone...insurance.
Tips:
1. Never text a provider on your private cell phone, then leave it laying around.
2. Never text your ATF at 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am...DRUNK...EVER!
3. Be diligent and clear all forms of communication...do not ever think your SO won't go through your things...she does and will.
4. If you allow a provider to get in your car/truck...keep a small hand broom handy. After the provider gets out, brush off your seats and floor for loose hairs.
5. Check yourself in the mirror after a session with a provider/dancer that uses a lot of glittery body lotions, lipgloss or eyeshadows...it will get on you...better yet...shower and use soap!
6. Keep your attorney's number on speed dial...and memorize his office number.
Happy Hobbying!

I understand Likinikki, I see the chances of her finding a second phone much higher than me getting an off the wall text or call. I haven't had a provider do that as of yet, maybe because I usually initiate through email and usually only start with phone calls right before the meet for location, etc. (Maybe a call to set up an appt once she gives me permission.)
I get so many unwanted calls (even with trying the no call list) that I can just not answer the call, go on and errand and call her back. I have been thinking about the Google voice but not sure how it does the caller id thing since most providers look for that before answering.
I guess I do this so infrequently (every couple months) that I avoid a lot of the hassles others do. It is just outside of my budget. And with the girls in OK raising their rates in the last year, It may get even more infrequent. I will keep going to my ATF MP - not GFE but still the absolute best HJ ever.

If you don't have a Hobby phone and you chose to use your personal cell phone, and have providers listed on your phone list use code names. In the past I have had clients use BJ (for obvious reasons but also if SO sees it, it just looks like a guys Name. So be creative with your phone list.
And if you do use your personal phone, MAKE sure you delete calls made to providers, text messaging and voicemails daily!

Many guys contact providers while at work, and may not be able to have personal email accounts, so to contact a provider through email they would use their work email. And as odd as it may seem, certain email names could probably get tagged or raise a red flag. I have a couple of clients that work for major companies, yet anything that is related porn/sex wise will get flagged. So when they became regulars and my escort email became tagged, we had to work around that. I just let them email me to my personal account and made sure not to say anything off the wall or sex related. For a one time client, not big deal but if he is a regular or ATF then may not hurt to let him email you to non-escort email account. It may sound crazy to do, but for them is has worked out well.

I second the hobby email thing. I use a web based email(hotmail, Gmail ect.) vs using outlook or mail(mac). <Sorry I don't know what that kind of email this is called. The only record of the emails is online vs on your computer.
A friend got in hot water for emails because the ladies email addy he was answering was 'mary@gfemary.com'. It showed up as Sexi Mary. Name changed to protect the not so innocent. First and last names(ie Mary Smith) are so much easier to explain away.

Well now Duffman, do you REALLY expect me to kiss and tell?
I will go so far as to say that I HAVE had female clients who got some extra relaxation though. THAT is ALWAYS cool! How's the song go? Girls just wanna have fun?
As a general rule, I would keep things on the straight and narrow with wives so as not to arouse any suspicions or anything else! LOL!

Make sure you are careful about GMAIL. You have to disable the buzz function or others will be able to view who you email often! Apparently they thought it would improve the social network to make public your address book!
There is a thread on this board about how to disable this function started by somebody much smarter than I:
