Newbie question ladies: Why the Outcall Upcharge?

As the title says. I notice the trend in provider profiles.

If you book the hotel, it's $XXX. If I book the hotel, it's $XXX + $YY.

Even if the outcall is to someone's house, I would think the distance/fuel wouldn't be nearly equivalent to the cost of a hotel?

Provider charges $500 for an in-call. $100 of that goes to a hotel.
Provider charges $500 for an out-call. $0 of that goes to a hotel.

Logic dictates that money spent on fuel will be significantly less than money spent on a hotel...even if it's a scary hotel.

The question it's self is not consistent with your portrayed online persona as a man of some fiscal stature. Money doesn't ask that kind of question. To follow suit and to complete this rather out of character question, your proposed explanation as to why you believe they do is not congruent to someone who is knowledgeable of the internal business workings of profit / loss and overhead control.

The obvious logistics and increased risk of out call demand a higher premium. Add to that she is ultimately selling the same thing we all are, time. Out call requires more time.

That's pretty much it. On top of that, the provider chooses her incall area because she knows said area and is comfortable there.

Doing an outcall to a shady part of town and the driving distance can be hectic. And by logic, she has to take the time to doll herself up and then leave rather than doing it at her own pace.

I'm sure that much of what I do and say is inscrutable, but let me point out two things:

Second, and relevant to the conversation, and your inquiry into my personality, take a look at my signature. Those aren't trite words, that is a life philosophy. I'd like to focus on the word "reflection."

Taking a peek under the hood of my online persona (which is eerily similar to my offline persona), I like to peek under the hood of things and see how they work. You just acknowledged that you read the COF thread floating around in here. Did you not see a similar inquiry from me in there?

Have you never stopped in your daily pursuits to snag a homeless person, take them to the nearest restaurant, and ply them with food and drink in exchange for the story of their life? Don't you find that interesting? Don't you wonder about people who think differently than you, and want to know why?

I may be incorrectly assuming that outcalls are either:
1. To a man's house.
2. To the hotel he's in during business travel, or some other reason.

Neither of which would be a scary hotel in a shady part of town. If it's going to be a seedy hotel, I'd presume the provider would arrange it, unless the man wanted something less seedy.



I was going to point out that the price difference between a seedy hotel and nice one aren't much different, but then I looked up the Post Oak Hilton, and it's definitely $200/night; which is higher than I was expecting. Then again, the Marriott down the way is $103/night...and while it doesn't have an executive lounge and an open bar, I'd prefer to drink in my room if I had company anyway.
