Default Please keep my family in your prayers

Yesterday I got news that a family member was hospitalized and had emergency surgery to remove 800 cc's of fluid from around her heart and lungs. During testing they also found that her liver is failing. Essentially pneumonia saved her life strangely enough but she's still in a drug induced sleep and we won't know the full prognosis until Tuesday or Wednesday.

I just ask that you pray, send good vibes, or whatever you do. She is very special to me and it's been a rough day since I can't be there for her right now.

Apparently the liver failure was due to long term use of ibuprofen. I knew tylenol could cause liver damage but had no clue ibuprofen could do that.

Thank you. It's my son's grandmother (ex husband's mother) so this is especially hard, all things considered.

They plan on taking out her tracheotomy tomorrow and waking her up if she continues to improve. We'll have a better idea of when she will be able to go home by then hopefully.

You have my best wishes. Some of my family have also gone through extensive health issues and it can be draining for entire family. Be sure and take care of yourself also. High stress times can lower immune level.

Alexxxis my thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours. I hope your relative pulls through no worse for the wear. I can say from my contact with you that she is a lucky person to have such a caring and feeling person as yourself on her side. God bless.

Yes, it's definitely stressful but I find going about my daily routine keeps my thoughts from wandering too much and helps me stay positive.

Again, thank you for the kind words and prayers.
