Has This Happend To You While Sitting In The Drive Thru?

The other day while on my way to work, I forgot to eat breakfast. I decided to stop at the Chick Fila in Grapevine,. I order my usual number 2 4 count mini. LOL I pull around to the drive thru window there's one other car in front on me. After he leave I pull up to the window to pay for my order. The lady stated that the guy in front already paid for my food. I ask, "are you serious", she said yes, he stated add the lady order behind me to mine order. That truly made my day and definitely made me smile. So l leave out of the parking lot fast trying to catch him, to say Thank You but then I saw the Grapevine PD in the middle of the road he was at the light which turned green. So I just continued on my way..Not trying to get a ticket that early in the morning.But was oh so happy for my 4 count mini.

Now I had someone pay for drinks at the bar before but never at a driver thru window.

Has this ever happend to anyone or have you paid it forward to someone you didnt know?

Yes! that has happened to me a few times before, surprisingly they have been at Chik-Fil-A also. I guess customers that eat from there are generally nice lol.

Anyways I've one encounter where the cashier told me people have been paying for each other's meal for the whole day. It felt good that someone paid for my meal and me paying for someone else's.

It's cool...I've had that happen to me so I did it for the car behind me.
P.S...check first to make sure it isn't a school bus...

Had it happen a few times...I do it a lot for those behind me in the drive thru.

I had a homeless guy give me $50 one time and tell me to buy a new jacket.

I was wearing a Members Only Jacket.

This happens to me at Starbucks. I try to start the giving every few weeks or so.

I have done it a few times and have it done to me twice. It is a great feeling both ways and just goes to show you that there are lots of good people out there.

This happens to me at Starbucks all the time.
The expectation is that when it happens to you, you should take care of the bill for the person behind you.
Although lately, it seems like that I get my $3 latte and I hear the person behind me ordering enough for the entire office!

happened to me twice, but not at a drive-through.. I would have a problem paying for the car behind me.. you often see signs at drive-throughs saying be sure you get a receipt, or notify the Manager if you don't.. because employees are known to steal.. I know several people who used to work fast food, they told me the methods they used to steal, and were not ashamed.. it was normal operating procedure, and quite easy.. if you pay for the car behind you, you may be paying the order-taker instead, who would collect the fee from the driver who would never know his order was prepaid..

Chic-Fil-A is probably safe though.. different culture, plus there's always 2 people hovering at the drive-thru window, so it's harder to steal.

If someone would prepay for my next session with my ATF I would pass it on. Maybe, well sort of, aw hell I would go for the double with her girlfriend. But I would be thankful.
