You can't help stupid, if you still go into Kansas to play, then you deserve what you get.

I failed to make note of the 1 exception, would be with a provider that you have seen before or one with whom you can place 100% trust, like Jackie, MS Elena or Sasha or someone else whom is very very very well trusted.

That is the first time I've ever heard of De Soto being lumped in with Merriam and Overland Park. LOL.
You can get arrested in MO just as easily as KS. Just screen and keep yourself safe and in the know. If something feels hinky, DON'T do it.
Did they say they also took over 4 grand from the people they arrested? What for?

Yes, it may be a run-on sentence, and yes, there may be some confusion between 'their' and 'they're', but other than that, it was pretty clear. You don't have to be a dick...

Yep, someone says this everytime and they still keep getting popped. If there was a spot on the highway where they were always shooting radar and writing tickets would you still speed through there.

When did prostitution or soliciting a prostitute become a state or federal crime? There are things that might MAKE them so, but in themselves they are not. Being underage, drugs, trafficing, or being a "habitual" offender can change things. But for the most part, even in Kansas, it's a Misdemeanor and is a city offense. Occasionally a county offense. Rarely a state offense and almost never Federal.
Again, I'm only referencing simple "prostitution" or "patronizing a prostitute" charges. In almost all cases the first is a Class B Misdemeanor and the second a Class C. Both have about a $500 to $1000 and/or 6 months in jail MAXIMUM sentence. And, again, any decent lawyer should be able to keep that from being anything near that harsh assuming you're otherwise clean. There are always exceptions and "example" hanging out there. But if you walk into a sting and you're sober, not packing, not carrying drugs, etc then this won't be the end of the world. Just get a good lawyer and your MUNICIPAL charge will go away. This hobby is dangerous enough. We don't need to make to make it seem worse than it is.

The answer is simple, if the girl traveled across statelines to engage in prositution or if the client traveled across state lines to engage in a pay for play event it is a Federal violation, the state and city prefers this because they then get Federal money.

Your welcome, it was pointed out to me that I may be hurting some good ladies by telling people to stay out of JoCO, so let me just say if they stay with well known classy ladies like you, Jackie, Alley Kat, Sasha and anyone with whom they have worked with before they should be okay. But beware of the newbies or anyone with whom you have never visited and whose reputation is not well known.

In Kansas LE confiscates the money they claim is going to be used for prostitution and they don't give it back.

DD, you're right in that crossing state lines to commit a crime is a Federal crime. I almost mentioned it in my post but didn't. The key there is they have to prove you crossed the line specifically to commit that crime. Not always easy to do. And the Feds don't really want to deal with prosecuting a simple prostitution charge. Especially in an area where people cross the state line on a daily basis for just about anything. Don't get me wrong, I know they'll scare the hell out of you with it. But I can't see them really bringing the hammer down for it. An agency or something, yes. Drugs involved, yes. Underage, yes. But anything else they'll just scare you and see if they can get you to cough up something. Hell, by those same laws, it's illegal to buy alcohol in one state and take it to another because you circumvent the liquor taxes of one state. But look how many of the liquor stores are on State Line Rd....
