I don't know where that came from, but it is true.

I know a professional photographer in California. He never trades for pictures. And he has quite a few pain-in-the-ass stories about Providers that try that angle. But he has said that the Providers that kept an updated portfolio of professional shots to add to their ads always say they generated more business for them.

It is a win-win.

It goes both ways. At times in the past, I've been in BR and felt like I couldn't find a good time for $500.

Other times, it seems if I tossed $200 in the air, it wouldn't ever hit the ground - and there would be a feeding frenzy.

Very "up and down" business I guess.

Lots of factors - traveling girls, holidays, etc.

Maybe perhaps budgets are tight this time of year - everyone spending $$ elsewhere.

I know as a self employed gotta pay the employees but no one pays there bills this month boss, I look at the bonus checks and realize this is the one month out of the year I want a nice salary job.....
