F1 Weekend and the workin' gal

It's a different feel than any of the music festivals. To put it bluntly F1 fans in general have more cash than rock and roll fans.

There are lavish parties, with see and be seen fashion events that rival NYC for a couple days.

I am sure there are several ladies being flown in for weekend long companionship, but how does this effect the local ladies (and the 35 corridor gals as well) that work out of the mid-range hotels?

Do you pay the 2x-5x rates for the weekend and treat it as business as usual? Do you up rates for the weekend to compensate? Do you lower your rates and hope to make it up in volume? do you take a well deserved week off?

Now, I am sure there are a lot of tshirt fans who drive in for the experience & tap the local hoogar market...

It will be interesting to see if we have more visiting girls this weekend, or if there is a downturn.

I had a blast at the Four Seasons last year having drinks paid for by some really nice gents, getting asked "Wooow are you exotic, Yes you are exotic!!" by little short Italian men with extravogant pinky rings. Bob, I tell you what you do. You go down there in your best dressed looking better than ever with one or 2 girlfriends (alone is better) and sit pretty. You rub elbows, and schmooze and go to the guys room making sure he hits the ATM on the way. Not everyone is going to think I'm hot shit but in the F1 caliber, all you have to do is see a couple of guys to make a few days work.

These guys might be calling girls on Eros, TER, Date-Check, maybe back page. More than likely because they are the sites that come up when you search escort Austin on google. But they are too busy with events and exploring Austin after parties with buddies to be co-ordingating and waiting for you to get through traffic.

I bet the girls in the club make way more bank than escorts do that weekend.
