Default Gift cards?

Are there any providers who take gift cards?

Pm me, if so.

Lol.

One told me flat out NO, even though they were brand new (unopened, unused).

Makes me think they only know cash.

I'd gladly show that the money's in there. They spend like any cc.

Some people steal gcs. . Not saying you would do that.. but that could be a reason some say no.. I do use them and will certainly accept them .. I carry debit if I need cash but use my cc most as I get awesome rewards!

I thought you could only activate them after they've been swiped at a register.

Yes, thieves are good, but I wouldn't broadcast on this board that I'm using them if they were stolen. The backlash wouldn't be worth it once she came on here calling me a shitbag ripoff, etc.

It'd probably create a few more NBA policies, too.

Exactly hun! If you're a verified gent with a good rep I can't imagine why a lady wouldn't... as you've said, it's just like a cc. I personally love to have them handy. You do not know how many times I've used one at the gas pump while traveling. . My cc and bank are very protective. . If I use my cars in more than a few cities a day they will shut them off until I call them. Some stations in small towns do not have an attendant all hours of the night. Those gift cards have saved my rear more than once

That is true about not activating until after purchase. I actually have guys that only pay me with gift cards. Some ladies may want the receipt as proof of purchase.

Yeah, I looked through some showcases and saw that some ladies took them. Apparently, that only means as an add on (fee in cash, and oh, here's a gift card).

It would've been easy to prove they were legit. I still had the receipts, and two of them were unopened.

I didn't expect the level of resistance. I assumed they were more frequent in the business.

I had this thought as I was driving home after being rejected all day (had plenty of time for my mind to wander). Cash vs gift cards, in relation to the IRS. I'm sure it's safe to say that many providers don't pay taxes. But if 'monies' you got in life came in the form of gift cards, is that a workaround for not paying taxes?

Maybe this part is worth another thread.

Lol! Oh geez.. they were accepting a literal "gift" how funny.. you would think if you can use it as a gift you can use it either way. Hmm. Better luck next time sweets
