Recent news was made in California politics; recorded from a phone call it was heard that a Jerry Brown staffer make the comment that E Bay CEO Meg Whitman was a "whore". The democratic party is trying to dismiss the whole affair as unfortunate and inconsequential even as Tom Brokow says the word is akin to the "N" word. What say the ladies here? How do you feel about the term and any other words that you may run into going about your life?

All politicians are whores, they just don't like being called out for what they are in my opinion.

She's obivously completely insane. Who in their right mind would spend $120m of their own money to get a job that has 0% chance of success and 100% chance of failure. And will also be subject to constant criticism and blame for everything that will go wrong. She is used to running a business where her decision was the final say-so and not subject to review.

Her ego must be huge.

I don't really mind the word 'whore'. It's not offensive to me. For some reason 'prostitute' is more distasteful. It makes no sense as they are both one and the same but 'prostitute' just sounds worse, LOL.
