Set a date a week out. That I will be in Killeen weds noon thru Friday checkout, etc.

Then wait for people to set dates with you....if 3 or more cum to town...if less change to later dates in the future.

Send a reminder note before you depart to travel.

Part of it is you came right mid month payday and end of the month payday. Probably, the poorest time of the month for a military based community

This. I know here in B/CS several of the guys check the board about once a week, then need to PLAN some time to meet. I would have called Chanel for sure if I was able to plan a time.

Also of course remember to make it very clear in your post which city you're in. We see a lot of posts in this forum saying "l'm coming to your area". Killeen is two hours from College Station, so I normally ignore ads that don't tell which city. Someone posted here the other day that they're in Brazoria county. Well Brazoria is well south of Houston. Did they mean Brazos county? Who knows.
