Classic Liberal Thought Process
Apparently without any sense of irony....
Income Inequality Institute Will Pay Paul Krugman $25,000 Per Month
http://gawker.com/income-inequality-...5-0-1563245534
Among the highlights:
"Along with the offer letter, CUNY released dozens of emails between Krugman and university officials. “Perhaps I’m being premature or forward,” the Graduate Center’s President, Chase Robinson, tells Krugman in one of them, “but I wanted you to have no doubt that we can provide not just a platform for public interventions and a stimulating academic community*—especially, as you will know, because of our investments in the study of inequality—but also a relatively comfortable perch.”
Which is undeniably true: $225,000 is more than quadruple New York City’s median household income."

Talking about thought processes....the other day I posted something about the difference between conservatives and liberals in the arena of civil disobedience and law breaking (violence). I wrote the conservatives are far less likely to break the law because their very philosophy hinges on the idea that the Constitution is the source of our laws and should be respected. The Constitution as written or responsibly altered is our handbook. Liberals think the Constitution is flawed and is in constant flux. They don't have to abide by a flawed document and violence is a reluctant means to an end. They try to establish themselves as having a higher morality because they are not bound by rules. When I wrote this I was talking about the US, her people, and our laws but as I thought about it I realized that I was also describing the schism between the Sunni and Shiite Muslim people.
The Sunni's consider the Koran to be a finished product and the Shia believe that it is still being written. The Sunni's believe that "people of the book" (Christians and Jews) are similar in belief to them whereas a Shia believes that those same people are infidels. Shiites are the base from which modern terrorism flows (though there are always individual exceptions that prove the rule).
The US liberal is very much like the modern Shiite. They have no hard and fast rules, they only have the ultimate goal (though they will argue what it is) in mind when they do things, and violence for the cause is perfectly acceptable in principal.
Not trying to steal the thread, Krugman is an ass and has been for many years.

Krugman is definitely an ass, and thinks the rules don't apply to him, either.

Bundy is a conservative, he is breaking the law. The armed militia supporting him are conservatives they are breaking the law.
Glenn Miller who shot the people in Overland Park is a conservative, and he broke the law. Want me to list some more?

Here is the problem with intelligence and perceptions. The KC shooter is a racist but not a conservative. He is a turd with a beard. Bundy is a conservative that thinks that government is breaking the law and violating the Constitution. I notice that the liberal attacker of Bundy (and government defenders) don't say that Bundy if violating the Constitution but the law. Today, the law and the Constitution are two different things.
Then again Rosa Parks broke the law, Martin Luther King Jr. broke the law, the founding fathers broke the law (multiple times), women who marched for the right to vote also broke the law. These people are the same side as conservatives and you idiots belong to George III, Bull Connors, and the men who committed women to asylums for wanting the right to vote. You are a despicable bunch of shits. Why don't you go out and count your slaves.

I was going to ask how you can possibly say that given what you say and who you support. For you it is all about the personality and fuck the laws (remember Occupy?). Then I remembered, your a socialist democrat, you don't think, you read bumper stickers.
