Here is the event at mid-eclipse. This was shot from Oklahoma City. The white dot near the bottom right is the star Spica in Virgo.

No, the chart is correct. Remember, the Earth spins from west to east which makes the sky appear to move from east to west, and due to the Earth's gravitational drag on the Moon, the Moon moves from right to left (west to east) against the background of the stars. This is why the Moon rises and sets later each night.

I wanted to take a picture but I missed it.
I heard Mars was visible too!

Mars is still visible and will be for about the next 12 months. Forgive the quality of this image, it's not in focus and is not a good shot by my standards. I shot this only for my own reference with no intention of posting it ANYWHERE, but since the question of Mars was raised, I thought it good to show the location of Mars in relation to the Moon during the eclipse.
