I used to be a member, and one time I was on the treadmill listening to iTunes and got a call. They came over and told me I had to get off the phone. I cancelled my membership after that.

Uh yea that gym is something else. They try too hard to cater to the shy people and forget that gym membership is comprised of folks of every kind. Their dumbbells don't even go high its ridiculous. Only great thing about it was the whole bring a friend for free and cancel any time.

They have like pizza Fridays what you expect.. I had a membership there for exactly one month.. Only went twice said fuck it when they told me I couldn't wear a fucking hat while I worked out...

Well, here's my foolish observations...

That woman's body is far from intimidating. She'd be dog meat compared to some of the ladies at Lifetime fitness Plano. That being said, who the hell cares what you wear? (or don't wear...) In fact, I think the official uniform for ladies with enhancements up top, is a running bra at least two sizes too small!

I'll never forget my first Dallas gym membership many years ago, in Valley Ranch. The club used to be owned by a bunch of former Dallas Cowboys, and there was no shortage of hot gold diggers hoping to hook up. One lady in particular, used to wear white sports bra's and douse herself with water after a work out. It was the equivalent of a wet T-shirt contest! All the guys enjoyed the show, but the ladies didn't appreciate it, so begrudgingly a manager asked her to decease and desist, or lose her membership. Oh well, nothing good lasts forever!

Sometimes when I go to the gym you have to wonder if it's a social club or a gym? I go to get in a "real" work out, enjoy some scenery while I'm grinding it out, and get the hell out of there. Listening to some ass clown/clowness chat each other up, cluttering the machines while doing nothing is aggravating as hell. Even more aggravating are the clowns talking loudly on their phone while on the treadmill/stair climber/elliptical. (So loud, they distract those around them in spite of wearing headphones.) Really? If you're working out seriously, having a leisurely chat is the last thing you should be able to do. (Are people so afraid of any real "alone time" they have to constantly interact socially? What have we become as a society)

So I can certainly understand where Planet Fitness is coming from...just seems like a bit of overcorrection to me.

I agree with Tony. It sucks when a moron is on a machine and isn't even doing shit. Its like why are you even here? Only thing worse is if you've got an out of shape fucker talking to some attractive girl about working out properly and eating right. Really? That's why you've got rolls?

I was at a LA Fitness once, this lady came in with a very short skirt and a tight fitting workout t-shirt. I thought she would change in to a short but she went straight to do her stretching and few sit ups. She wasn't wearing any panties and she was spreading her legs facing the big ass wall mirror. All of a sudden, few guys started to merge to where she was at. She was giving everyone a show but some girl notified the manager and they escorted her to the front desk and then ask her to leave. Come to find out she was drunk or at least that's what one of the trainer was telling us. I haven't seen her in that club since........ She was fine though!!
