I hate to admit it, but this Cowboys season is reminding me of that not so stellar run the Giants made when they crushed Brady and co in the big game.
God I hate Jerry Jones though...he reminds me of a Sleestak

I don't think KC is all that, and Denver, as well as 90% of the NFL doesn't have a secondary, Big Ben finally won a couple and he knows how to win. This could be the season where none of the spotless record teams get there, may depend on who's willing to slug it out down the stretch and who has the fewest on injured reserve. Watch somebody pull a third string 5th rounder off the bench to play QB, or even worse, somebody has a Brady or a Montana sitting behind a shmuck, shmuck goes down and they win it all. Hey, I'm an optimist in a shitty season of lousy teams!

If the Seahawks can remain relatively healthy by playoff time (and they DO have a secondary), this could be the team to beat in both conferences. They can run the ball....their qb, Wilson, makes good decisions and doesn't turn the ball over.....and that defense just pounds the crap outa people the entire game.
By the way, don't look now but The Pack is starting to figure out ways to "run the ball" and depend on Rodgers less (which is a good thing considering the present condition of his receiving corp). Green Bay may figure into the mix come January.
And, lastly, I am looking forward to both of the divisional games between Denver and KC the second half of the sched.....super offense vs super defense. If that Indy game last Sunday night (vs the Broncos) was any indication as to how you need to play them, the Chiefs surely took notes.
The rest of the league, as you stated, Phildo, is a total enigma.

How about them Cowboys.....They seem to suck no matter what angle one looks at their outcomes......
They need Chuckie to come in and be their coach, the big babies on the team will stop crying.....
It is fun to watch them cone unraveled....

8-8 will probably win the division and that is exactly where the Cowboys are going to be, then they will get beat by the favored wildcard team in the first round.

The Lions just played a tough game and kept at it despite their early setbacks. Good closers and Stafford played it cool at the end.
I'm sure Jerry's Kids will bounce back a bit for their next game.

Cowboy born, Cowboy bread, when I die I'll be Cowboy dead.
How many of you assholes were on the bandwagon in the early/mid 90s?
Talk all the shit you want - I always have and always will love the Dallas Cowboys. I was wearing a Cowboy shirt in 1989 when they were 1-15 and will tomorrow. Who I don't respect are the losers wearing Patriots and Colts stuff - yeah, sure you had that before Brady and Manning.
It's a Dallas area post and you know what - I don't like Jerry Jones as an owner - he's terrible, but when you're a true fan you support your team no matter what. Trust me - it sucks to see some of the things they do but it is what it is.

Cowboys (4-4) vs Vikings (1-7)
Eagles (3-5) @ Raiders (3-4)
Wash (2-5) @ Chargers (4-3)
Giants (2-6) bye
Well the NFL is entertainment......and the Cowboy game was certainly entertaining.
Jerry Jones is a terrific owner. He is a great marketing general manager. Forbes ranks the Cowboys value at $2.1 Billion, which puts them at the 5th most valuable sports franchise in the world. #1-3 are soccer teams and #4 is the Yankees. He paid $124 million for the Cowboys and Texas Stadium. That is a pretty good return on original investment. What Jerry Jones is not, is a good director of player personal. He has to be a micro manager, he refuses to delegate authority. But hey it is his company, so he can run it the way he wants. That's the American way........lo
Only the San Diego game was a non entertaining game to me. lt stunk from the start.
