Well, if they had given additional protection, it is not a fact that the outcome would have been different. More people would simply have died. And yes, those who work in hot spots are quite aware of the risks they are taking.

Anyone who has dealt with the elderly can see that.
Trump is in that category. Not as bad as Biden but Trump's personality/temperament makes his even worse. I mention Trump because folks think he should run again. That would be a disaster imho.
