Most are and then some to put it mildly. They're definitely not deaf though. They hear everything he says and they take it as the gospel.

From where I'm standing it seems like the standard disingenuous bullshit that's been spouted for the last 5 years: if it's good, Obama did it, if it's bad, Trump did it.
It was "Trump's just skating on Obama's good economy" for almost 3 and a half years until COVID showed up and everyone collectively screwed the pooch. Then magically overnight it became "Trump's economy".
Pretty standard liberal ass-talking per usual.

Since the bill passed the house on Saturday, that "letter from the IRS" your brother got is probably right.
Since your brother got a letter telling you when (today is the first of March), why are you still complaining?

This was for the 600$ check. I received a similar letter from the IRS about 10 days ago.
You are the one confused...Biden level confused.

you do know, that while Obama was shrinking the deficit year after year, big boy bad ass came in, lowered corporate tax rates, borrowed trillions and then said, look at how great I am....
Here's the kool aid brother, keep drinking.

My pay was up, my stocks were up, my interest rates were down, gas was cheaper, and my taxes were lower.
I didn't know "winning" was a flavor of kool aide.

You forget Trump was going to eliminate deficits and reduce the debt if not eliminate it!

we'll see, reviews aren't for another couple weeks. But yeah, just printing out another 3 trillion isn't going to feel good.
But printing money is like all other Dem policies: a race to the bottom disguised as pulling people up.

Trump inherited a much better economy than the one he left. That is a fact. If he was a much more competent person then he could have reduced a lot of the damage. But instead he just told lies and ignored those who know more than him just because they were telling him the truth as opposed to what he just wanted to hear. How many jobs were lost under Trump again??

Don't know the number, but too many, and I'm sure you and I agree to that. Probably what we disagree on is how it should have gone down - with my opinion that no shutdown should have happened, and people should have just been given the risks and left to their own devices.
I agree with the idea that Trump was in over his head, but disagree with the "those who know more than him" concept.
The entire medical community was in over it's head as well, and the first six month was spent throwing shit against the wall to see what stuck. Some things that were instructions by "those who knew better" killed people. The ventilators that we were in such a desperation for turned out to be useless.
I don't blame the whole of the medical field for it, the MSM shares the largest portion of the blame for whipping up hysteria, promoting bad ideas like they were gospel, and then trying to crush what THEY thought were bad ideas, even when they came from other doctors. Folks like Dr. Seheult of Medcram ended up being 100% right, but because they dared to explain how Hydroxychloroquine works, they go deplatformed for a period where their information could have saved lives.

well said. I do agree with some of what you said here. Not all but some. I really don't care who pulls us out of this mess we're in as long as we just get out of it.
Republicans need to take their party back in 2024 and nominate someone like Kasich. Neither Biden nor Harris will be a very strong incumbent/candidate, either one would be stronger than Trump was but still not that strong. And if we're going to lose I would much rather it be to someone like Kasich or Romney.

Unless we get some more new blood in the next couple years, I think you're more likely to get DeSantis. Nobody really seems to want the old moderate business republicans of the 90's, the populists have labeled them the enemy as much as the progressives have.
