He wants all of Texas to be like the Austin Area, also!
When you look at lists published that rank cities across the U.S. for various positive attributes, Austin is almost always among the highest ranked. So why wouldn't anyone other than an ignorant redneck hillbilly want that for any city, Texas or not?
“When considering a move people are concerned about finding a job in their field, earning enough to afford a home, sending their kids to good schools and feeling like a part of their community," said Kim Castro, executive editor at U.S. News, in a statement. "The Best Places to Live ranking takes all of that into account — the metro areas that do well are the ones with strong job markets and high quality of life."
So, which city took the top spot this year? Austin, Texas, came in at No. 1, bumping the previous winner, Denver, Colorado, to No. 2. The reason? A lot of people are moving to Austin, and the job market and quality of life scores there also saw improvement. In addition, the metro area received a higher percentage of votes in the desirability survey, in which 2,000 random internet users were asked to choose which of the 100 metro areas they would prefer to live in.
There's no need. NASA and the NOAA have both been found falsifying climate data. In fact, they've rejected court orders to keep from handing over their raw data and associated emails so it can be scrutinized.
algore is joke. We are past his "tipping point."
It wasn't me who referenced the NASA report. It was our wonderful forum contributor Iiffy. Take it up with him.
Typical ignorant response when you don't have one! You really are a loser .... why don't you hangout at the "7-11" and have a "beer"? Or have they already given you a "trespass warning"?
... but providing you anymore would just overwhelm you!
So you think a Yankee Carpetbagger like you is going to ...
... revamp Texas into a Yankee's Paradise?
And you call anyone a "dumbass"?
Like I posted: You remind me of the "Democrats" in the Texas Legislature who opposed "Daylight Savings Time" legislation, because it would increase the length of time the Sun was shining and destroy the crops being grown here in Texas! Do you still believe the oil and gas beneath the Texas landscape was "injected" there by "use guys" from up North?

Quite a few big businesses endorsed the Paris Accords, not the least of which was Exxon. You don't need to believe in grand Machavellian conspiracies or turn the climate issue into a fight between classes to understand why.
....
Republicans don't give a shit about public policy. ...
... They don't have a stake in the long term health of the nation.
.
Do we plan long term? Do we conserve limited resources?
...
You're an idiot. Exxon and other big oil companies were offered billions in "carbon credits" to participate in an European carbon exchange. It never got off the ground a few years ago.
Republicans and conservatives have a stake in the long term health of the nation and they participate in everything through paying gas taxes to hunting licenses. We just don't believe C02 is a pollutant.
Climate change or Global warming or whatever you want to call it is a scam. You've fallen for it, not us.
