Number 10 out of 150 countries isn’t impressive when you’re talking about number of deaths. I said compare the USA to East Asia, Central Europe and Australia, not shithole banana republics.

Google “Covid death rate” and the name of the countries and you’ll see charts with daily deaths on the y-axis and dates on the x axis. And it will be obvious that we’re on track to end up with a higher number of deaths per capita than anyplace that’s not in Latin America except possibly Belgium. So, when it comes to Covid, we’re just another shit hole banana republic, like I said.

Woodwards first book on Trump was borderline pedestrian because Trump's people smartly kept him away. This time around is a different story. The only possible explanation is hubris. He really thought the he could outsmart Woodward and mold his own narrative. He does not seem to realize that he can only outsmart people in red caps.



I will read Cohen's book but only when I find it at Half Price Books or on Amazon used so I do not register in his book sales. It is hard for me to take the words of a spurned lover seriously. I'd like to read your take on it. Did it sound remotely objective or did it sound like he was trying to snag a lifeboat?

Prove facts to you? That would be kind of like Galileo trying to prove to a Catholic priest that the earth revolves around the sun. I’ve just started the book, so too early to tell, but he seems to be convinced there’s no way Trump will voluntarily leave office, and Trump will be indicted and serve jail time after he leaves the presidency. I don’t think any of that is likely to happen but it is possible.

Is he trying to snag a lifeboat? Well he’s gone from millionaire lawyer to something less, and royalties from a best seller would be a good way to partially remedy that. I would trust what he says more than Trump, or perhaps even your average politician, but that’s not saying much. And I might change my mind about that as I read more

So you decided to reduce that list to the 13 worst performing countries in the world. Since you ignored the other 137 now the USA doesn’t look so bad. I wouldn't waste my money on that book. It's contents are nothing but fiction. If Trump isn't reelected he'll leave office just like all presidents before him did. He's not going to be indicted or any of that shit. Just like nothing ever happened to Hillary Clinton over her emails. Remember all the shit Bret Kavanaugh went through?
