One of my points exactly.

Thank you. I owe you one.

No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
The soviets had the bomb during Ike's presidency. That's why there was duck and cover(and the Soviets actually had an H bomb before us. Our thermonuclear "test" was a proof of concept for fusion. It wasn't something we could have dropped on someone).

The Germans never were on the right track; so, why do you imagine the Soviets would have found the right track that quickly without Fuchs?

you're missing my point.

without Fuchs, they would have gotten the nukes at some point but it would have taken them longer to reach that goal clearly after 1960. the logistics chain was going to be a problem without Fuchs's help. when they got the bomb, they didn't have a uranium mine until it was discovered.

again here, other nation in soviet orbit, china and india would have gotten theirs in early 1970 or later depending how far along their program was. they got some russian nuclear advice.

the thing with India's history on nukes is questionable. they claim they developed it without any help from the soviets. soviets certainly have supplied it nuclear material & construction. they got theirs during the late 1960's.

If India's claim is to be believed, then the Russians would have gotten the nukes by early 1960 or mid 1960s without Fuch's involvement.

with that we're getting into what if territory. the U.S. nuclear posture during 1950 - 1960 would have been very different.

No. I'm not missing your point. Nazi science was on the wrong course, and they would never developed a nuclear weapon following the track they were on. To claim that the Soviets would have automatically found the right track and developed a bomb on the time table you state without Fuchs is pure speculation.

of course it is speculation. they still would have gotten the bomb with or without fuchs help.

You have a copy, good. Now show me where Warrick has stated that Zarqawi was in charge of a "WMD program in Iraq" before the 2003 invasion. And according to the author, Zarqawi wasn't even capable of running your so-called "WMD program in Iraq" because "there was no sign that Ansar's militants possessed the equipment or know-how for making real chemical weapons."

But that's not all, the Bush administration had a "golden opportunity" to wipe Zarqawi and his cohorts from the face of the earth with a single airstrike, and the CIA operatives on the ground had been pleading repeatedly for the go-ahead. Did Shrub give the order that he knew had to be given?

Bush decided to nix the plan, for now.
He eventually did get Zarqawi's ass, four years too late.

And you, a self-proclaimed U.S. military veteran, are a disgrace to the uniform you'd donned and to the American blood that Zarqawi had spilled for blaming Shrub's despicable inaction to take out Zarqawi on Saddam. What a fucking surprise!

https://original.antiwar.com/loretta...-zarqawi-myth/

This is the latest misinformation about the man. Until the end of 2004, Zarqawi was an al-Qaeda outsider. His myth was the product of American and British propaganda to justify a preventive strike in Iraq. Colin Powell’s announcement of Feb. 5, 2003 – “Iraq today harbors a deadly terrorist network, headed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, an associate and collaborator of Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda lieutenants” – transformed him into an international al-Qaeda leader. Having failed to prove Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, the U.S. government was constructing its case for war on Saddam’s connection with terrorism, with Zarqawi the link to al-Qaeda. We now know that this information was false and that it took al-Qaeda’s leadership by surprise.

It was cited, and it is there in black and white. Here's the part your dissembling-ass omitted:
Quote:
[T]he militants harbored a deadly secret: a stockpile of poisons they were testing for possible use in terrorist attacks abroad. Through the CIA’s interrogations, and with additional help from well-placed spies, the nature of Ansar’s [al-Islam: Zarqawi’s base camp in Iraq] poisons fixation became clear. The group had managed to acquire dozens of gallons of deadly chemicals, including cyanide, and a small supply of castor beans for making highly lethal ricin. Each of the ingredients could be purchased easily and legally—potassium cyanide is used in film developing... Still, the experiments seemed serious enough. Inside their makeshift lab, amateur technicians mixed cyanide with skin cream and other cosmetics. Their rumored experiments on stray dogs were later confirmed in videotapes that were discovered in the fort’s ruins.

“‘Their abilities are crude, but their aspirations are huge,” [CIA chief Charles] Faddis remembered thinking at the time. ‘They are out for blood, and they are no joke.’” (p. 89)

Keep reading. You'll get to the part where the author denigrates Odumbo for failing to take out ISIS in its incipient stage while all the time bragging about how "al Qaeda was on the run".

Its sad what Bush & Trump have done to our military. Its shameful. I feel sorry for the individuals serving. Our military has become a laughing stock. IB has become a defender of NK, Russia, Saudi Arabia and the likes. He doesn't care about America

You might want to check who it is that's in bed with the Russians -- it would be you and every other lib-retard that bought hildebeest's "RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!" mantra written by Putin's agents, sold to Steele and paid for by hildebeest.

Then there's your socialist clowns Bernie and Omar, who are aligned with Maduro, who is aligned with Putin. Put that in your Antifa mask and smoke it.

Nobody hurt the military worse than Slick Willie and Odumbo.

DAY THREE OF MELTDOWN BETO!

Getting your ass handed to you in every thread and by different posters, IBH.

At least you’re spreading it around. That’s good.

But now you’re accusing everyone who isn’t in agreement with you of colluding with Russia?

Obviously, you’re now off the rails again.

You don’t think Flynn made the connections long ago? Kinda hard to see through all that orange wool pulled over your eyes.

Every, single, solitary jackass that ever repeated hildebeest's Russian authored mantra of "RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!" was ... is .. and always will be Putin's jackass puppet. Putin sought to sow discord, and the "RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!" jackasses did his bidding. Count yourself among them. YOU colluded with Russia! Flynn will be exonerated.
