To contribute the OP's first post:

To me, and I do not mean to step on any racial toes here, the word 'whore' is fairly comparable to the n-word. It's cool to use it if you're a provider referring to yourself, or to call another provider a whore (jokingly usually, e.g. "You saw six clients today?! You're such a whore!"). But not cool if you're a dude calling a woman a whore - unless she likes being called such, usually in the bedroom, of course ("you dirty whore, take that dick"). But the guys who regularly refer to all of the whores on this board? Fucking lame, just like your life (or lack thereof).

Ya know what I find even more titilating than this bicker-fest
Is the actual origins of language or words and how they are used to entice such emotion from others and how they come to be such powerful tools....
Then we could go on to discuss what a funny thing power is....made up in our mind yet it effects our physical realm with such force it cannot be ignored or denied. Though it can be controled where it began-in the mind.

Another example of what I was hoping to learn more about. I like to think that this type of power is mostly powerless because most people don't usually respond positively to it.

Glad to see the responses like this that actually shed light, while others seem to hang on to their tired old biases like a drunk hangs on to a lamppost - more for support than for illumination.
