This is a nice point. The only reason I brought up taxes is that it is a good example of how most, any, all of us, not just providers, do not live up to this type of honor we project onto those who serve, those who died serving, and the end result of their efforts.

I'd rather see more effort put into living right than paying homage to the dead. On Monday the streets will be filled with rude ass 9-5ers primarily unaware of real sacrifice and merely paying it lip service.

But that isn't everyone and I'm glad you all have your pleasant thread too.

I poke into that section, and I have no idea if I hold my own.

The standard thread is something like this:

A: I think random opinion.

B: You're an idiot.

C: Yes, A is an idiot, but B is a tranny fucker.

Primarily depending, I suspect, on the amount of free time the players involved in any given thread have, a topic could go on for pages and weeks. A completely non-political Mensa test thread went for dozens of pages for some reason.

There is some good insight and analysis but it can be difficult to separate it from the battles between members that seem to have a history.

My apologies, I thought you guys liked to battle here. Some seem very proficient at it.....Just an option. And they are not always political nature threads. If you don't like the the way the threads go, come in and change the direction of them. The members make the site.
