Well, I didn't read the last eight pages and I do not intend to do so.I may therefore be off topic. It's kind of early to say America is going down (unless you mean that in the very broad, historical sense that all powers have risen, dominated, and then collapsed). America is challenged, by the Chinese, by India, by the Brazilians, by radical Islam, by a resurgent Russia. But who is to say America will not meet the challenge? Did America not meet the challenge created by the Soviet Union, by Hitler's Germany, by Imperial Japan? And it certainly has the physical means to witstand currently rising powers.

Speaking of the Soviet Union: did the Russian communists not murder 60 million people during their 60 year rule? That's one million Russians murdered every year. + the many more millions of people who were murdered by puppets of the Russian communists, in East Europe, in China (whose communists started out as puppets of the Russians), in Cuba, in Ethiopia, in Mozambique, etc. That's many more victims of Russian persecution than have died in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, irrespective of whether or not the war-time bombing of civilian centers is ever justified, militarily, or morally.
