There are a lot of dipshit cops out there who want to play Rambo over nothing. Sadly for minorities, they will not get the benefit of the doubt a lot of times and they're considered guilty although they've done nothing wrong.
Black parents should be having these conversations with their kids because you never know what that cop or fake vigilante wanna be cop is thinking if a person decides to be judge, jury and executioner all within 10 fucking minutes because of their complete stupidity.
Edit: The fucked up thing to me is that it happens all of the time in black communities and you never hear a peep about it when it happens there but idiots like this father and son and Zimmerman are a national outrage to people. To me, all of this bullshit should all be a national outrage regardless of race.
No. there isn't. very few cops are the "Rambo" type you claim. 99 percent of cops don't use their jobs to "hunt down" minorities. i advise you not to believe the liberal narrative on "evil cops", it's simply not true.
black parents like that guy in the recent news article are the reason a lot of these kids are lawless punks. even with fathers in their lives, their dad's are telling them not to obey the police. yeah .. that's not going to work out well for the kids. all of these so-called "black victim evil white cop" stories start the same way .. some black dude doing something illegal or acting suspicious won't comply with police.
it always turns out to be that way and as soon as the complete videos come out the media runs from it like it has the WuHoo CHINK virus on it.
I feel like the suspect has a hostile attitude towards the police and his actions in these videos are inappropriate when interacting with law enforcement.

I don't go by liberal news just like I don't go by conservative news. I take all into consideration and decide whether it is bullshit or not. I know their agendas so I take neither as the gospel. But let's go by your narrative though and go with the 1% who are. How many cops do you think there are in this country? I said "a lot" are the Rambo types. I absolutely disagree with your stats but whatever. 1% of tens of thousands of cops are still a lot.

me too.. I wondered for some time about that original shooting vid, where the Jogger disappears on the side of the truck, then quickly reappears charging the eventual Shooter. WTF? no fear, no restraint at all. we can't hear what was said, but it all played out FAST.
which is why this unearthed video is meaningful. it paints a picture of the Jogger going back years. I'm not ready to say he got what was coming, but I'm clearing my throat in preparation.

it's about 80,000. this has been discussed before, studies of police misconduct show about 1%. these are the bad apples and they do get shunned in the police fraternity. sure some big city cop abuses his authority .. yes cops can do that .. and they usually get picked up by some small city dept. because they do have the training even with a black-mark. by the way a bad service record is almost always a reject for the various elite units like State Police. while you can contend Police tend to defend their own which to a degree they should but bad cops get cycled out of police departments. any good chief doesn't want that type of cop in his unit.
How many police officers are in the US 2019?
There are more than 800,000 sworn law enforcement officers now serving in the United States, which is the highest figure ever.
Bailey "admitted" he was an armed robbery suspect by fleeing. Colorado law for the good of the community gives the officer the right to pursue and fire. the reason is clear. this person is a menace to the community. what if he kidnaps/holds hostage someone? kills someone to steal their car to get away?
recall there was a 911 ARMED ROBBERY called in that caused this confrontation. Bailey was armed and knew it, if he hadn't run he'd be alive today. once he ran he became a danger to the community.
there is a reason this happened and it's why the record starts with a 911 call that an armed robbery committed. they matched the description. Bailey had his chance to comply but ran.
the police action starts at the 10:00 mark
here is where is gets interesting. elsewhere in Colorado with weeks of Bailey's incident a white guy was shot attempting to flee. also reported armed and dangerous.
two suspect, one black, one white. both reported armed and dangerous. both failed to comply with police. two different police forces in Colorado. same result. where is the racism? looks like good police work to me.
And with the body cam footage and details from the OP, seems pretty cut and dried.

here's why. in the article another shooting is discussed, of a man shot while fleeing police.
here is a photo of the stand off.
A cell phone video appears to show the Aug. 5 fatal shooting of Allan George in Rifle by police and seems to indicate he was shot in the back as he was moving away from officers.
The footage was taken across the river from the bridge where George was stopped, then shot by Rifle Police, who were attempting to arrest George on charges of child exploitation.
Much less is known about a shooting two days later in Rifle. On Aug. 5, police were attempting to arrest Allan George on an outstanding warrant for possessing child pornography when “things escalated,” according to the Glenwood Springs Post Independent newspaper. In a video shared with the paper, a person appearing to be George is seen jogging away from police when he’s shot in the back.Police said the man was armed. He died shortly after the incident.
Police were attempting to arrest George on an Eagle County warrant for child sexual exploitation, on charges that he possessed pornographic images of minors. After pulling George over, “things escalated,” Stowe said last week.
“He had a gun, and the Rifle Police Department responded initially, to my knowledge, according to protocol,” Stowe said.
sound familiar? now let's meet Mr. George, shall we?
HGMMMMMM! looks white to me.
Video raises possibility police shot Rifle man in the back

It certainly presents uncertainties which do not allow for a perfect, easy to decide situation.

that is why I advocate jailing those parents of those lawless kids. they created the problem!!!
there was an incident between jogger and the police at a park 2 years ago. he complained about their bullshit actions. the police were trying to search him even though they didn't have a search warrant. their claim that there was "criminal activity" in the park. the jogger apparently worked there.
Yup. Some kids can be raised with all of the love and kindness imaginable and they still turn out like shit. I agree with Dilbert that most of the time it is the parents' fault though, but a lot of times it's just a fucked up kid and the parents have nothing to do with their depravity and mental problems and it is out of their control.
Edit: Just for transparency, I'll admit I just wanted to put that last aforementioned sentence on the internet just in case one of my kids eventually becomes a serial killer because don't blame me! Blame my semen!
Twice in posts you said the cops were trying to search HIM!
Now you change it to they were trying to search his "CAR"!
#1: There is a difference in standards. #2: the "search" is much different from a practical point of view. Both depend upon the reason for the initial stop and what occurred immediately after the initial stop.
They don't HAVE to have a search warrant to search his car, either.
The SCOTUS established an exception to the general rule long ago. The departures have been based primarily on the changes in the mobility of our society, which has to do with vehicles. Just like departures had to be made for electronic devices...phones etc.

And you get this summary of information from where?
My first observation is more in the form of a rhetorical question!
From where do the "studies" get their data for the "study"?
It goes downhill from there as I wade through your anecdotal remarks laced with mind reading skills.
that is why I advocate jailing those parents of those lawless kids. they created the problem!!!
That seems draconian. I agree bad parents are substantially to blame for how their kids turn out but not to the point of being criminally responsible to the point of jail unless the parents were a direct party to a crime.
Liberals would probably use such a concept to put conservatives in jail for their kids voting Republican.
