Well as you can see I did not make it to class today lol. Decided to have some locks put on and yet ANOTHER camera installed. I may retire sooner than anticipated once I get this woman in court lol. Those who know me, know what ordeal I have been going through...it is almost over I can assure you.

Maybe we can put a Paddle Boat in there ha ha. I had a Baja but sold it when I put money down on the place in Fla. with my girl. Be nice to see some return on that already!

Charles, thank you for your comment and I can respect your point of view.
However, cab drivers are notorious for preying on unsuspecting out-of towners.
As for comparing it to escorting....I agree to disagree.
Taking me out of the way due to snow, in a city where you reside and should be accustomed to driving in these conditions was insulting to say the least.
What if the hotel I was going to was exactly in the area he was supposedly trying to avoid due to the snow? Would he then tell me he couldn't take me? I don't think he would have.

I take cabs often when touring in big cities and had never encountered this issue before. I always try to prepare myself, know where I am going and approx. how long it will take me to get there. I think that makes good sense to do so.
I don't think I have to be a professional cabbie to know that a 10 minute trip shouldn't take 30.

The front desk clerk also thought $48 was extremely high! lol

Sometimes it's not about the $ but principal and not letting people take advantage of a situation.
