People get smuggled into this country. All the time, I might add. But we were talking about sex slavery. Were they smuggled into this country for SLAVERY. I highly doubt it.
Further more....these people WANT to come to this country. Damn people, Do ya'll just make shit up to support distorted views?
Where are all these SLAVES? Held against their will. Don't you think that would be huge news? Especially if it involved sex workers.
Please quit taking a snap shot and trying to make it into a movie.

probably probably probably.....WTF are we talking about? Feelings, just how we FEEL? Nothing fact based, just how we feel. Great , let's all do a group hug and make it all better.

Do you admire groups that exaggerate shit so they can get taxpayer money ? I sure don't. Their agenda is that an actress that works in porn is an abuse victim. Good Lord, this is starting to sound like some liberal know what is good for everyone fuc fest.

On Not Getting Involved...
From Wiki: "THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.
THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
THEN THEY CAME for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up."
[Attributed to WWII German Pastor (along w/ some controversy), but the sentiment remains.]
The point is, even if it ISN'T YOUR problem, it may be something with which YOU need to take a stand. This is a general statement made to all, not to just WTF (although his reason is really shitty...he's afraid somehow his taxes will go up. I'd be willing for my taxes to go up if it saved one person, male of female, from sex slavery).

I was at a convenient store late one cold night and two girls came in. One with a cell phone and she looked 19 or 20 and she was talking very loud so the whole store could hear her. She was booming that they were out of gas and didn't know where they were. Girl #2 was 14 or 15 years old and was dolled up with makeup like JonBenet Ramsey. She looked a little nervous but the two of them together and the way they were acting I felt there might be a pimp at the motel 6 next door. I used a pay phone out side and called the coppers.
I left.

Actually Charlie, that sounds like a bad episode of West Wing (the John Wells era).
Even in my original post I said if there is one victim it is too many.
That said, all of us have to prioritize our causes. We all have finite resourses.
This is one of RK's. Good for him.
This isn't one that WTF prioritizes as high. Good for him. I'm sure he's trying to do his part in other areas. I don't think WTF is saying he supports human trafficking.
I don't make a value judgement.

Gee, atl, when I saw you had posted here, I thought you'd be reporting your success.
Oddly enough, I agree with your latest post. However, WTF seems to have gone out of his way to fight the existence of sex slavery in the US, and he made himself somewhat of a target in doing so.
I also agree that he has set his own priorities.

No you people have gone out of your way to say I said that! I never said it does not exist. I said (and will keep saying) that it is overblown.
I also said these phoney fucs that claim it is a huge problem are liars. They want FUNDING. They want to shut down all forms of prostitution. You have people you know arrested by these do gooder asshole's cause and have that blimish on their record and see how you feel about these liars. A fucking blue eyed blond who comes and goes as she pleases is not a sex slave like these fucd up folks would like you to believe.
Does that mean that when they run across some bitch slapping pimp that should be locked up and horse whipped, that they should get credit for doing so. But it is much rarer than what they make it out to be. But these do gooders are no different than Waco, when the ATF was looking to make a splash for funding purposes.
Some of you better hope the God Damn Germans don't first come after those in this forum without a lick of horse sense or drama queens! Ya'll be shit outta luck.

God.... I gotta address this BS.
Of course everyone says that but in reality we as a nation must make choices. Do we throw money at a BS problem that is not near as prevelant as it as made out to be or do we spend money on say child care? Child care that might actually save a fucn life, not imnject someones moral principal on the rest of us. Argue if you want we should do neither but do not give the the holier than though speech.
Word the problem how it really is charles and not some fairy tale wish it was how the world should be caca.
Everybody wants their tax dollars go for some cause or another. The problem is tax dollars are limited. Sell your house and give away all you have and have your family go without for your cause.

Gee, it's quiet around here!
Are we all working too hard or is it the time of the year when we head for the beach
So I thought I would update y'all...
Met her for drinks a week or so ago and one thing led to another She was crazy as hell BCD.
Yesterday ran into her at the local watering hole with her boyfriend "from out of town." Actually I think it is great. This chicky-doo appreciates a little NSA action
The question I have is where does this sex worker's advocacy group recruit at? She's a fun girl

Never mess with any HR dept. All they do is cover their asses, pretty or not. See "Dilbert" and "Ratbert" for references.

Good for you RK on both abuse and trafficing.
