No-- I don't think a hobbyist should have to pay. How many times have we been stood up by a provider who was a complete NCNS?

BTW, how can a hobbyist pay anyway? He's not going to be able to make the appointment. Now, if he reschedules that might be a different story. In that case, I don't think he should pay unless he feels the need to give a little extra for the inconvenience. It is strictly up to the hobbyist. One of the more curious things I've seen is when a provider says she has a cancellation fee. Really? How does that work? If a guy cancels, do you expect him to come over the next day and give you the fee?

In most cases she simply won't see him without an extra 100 or something, and in most cases he just won't see her again...that right there is telling. So you see, we get fked more than you guys do lol. Literally!

Most cancellations are bs! Very few are actual emergencies...and many hobbyists still feel the need to lie to a hooker about why they are not showing up lol. WTF...really.

You're very correct. For a new person you really can't tell if they're sincere or not (unless they have reputable status). If they reschedule then I'll give give them the benefit of the doubt and see them at the next arranged time with no fee. If they cancel that one then forget it. I'm not "low volume" so it's not a big deal to me if one person cancels.
Like I said before, for those "clock free" one's... it's much better to take a 50% deposit. At least you're guaranteed that amount. Especially if a touring girl has free'd up an entire day to be cancelled on and get a hundred bucks? That would piss me off.

For some touring girls, the local girls will call with a fake number just to screw up their business. There's certain cities that are nortorious for this and I avoid them.
Other times, guys are just assholes and will make an appointment without ever having the intention to go.
Screening well usually weeds these guys out.

I have actually heard of this where some local provider's would make fake appointments with touring girls so they get a bad taste of what that city has to offer. I would think there would be more then enough business to go around.

Yeah, sadly a few of my friends have been victims of this. There's a city called Fort Mac in northern Alberta which is notorious for all it's men and money (tons oil and rig workers = men with money) and every time a Calgary and or Edmonton girl goes there the agency that's there makes an appointment and NCNS or calls the hotel and gets them kicked out. It's retarded. BUUUUT the Calgary girls are known for being bitches too so I guess it works both ways.

My guess...a cheaper provider came into town before the other one got there lol. I have had guys flat out tell me they do this, and often. Is it their right? Sure, just like it's also our right to cancel on an hour guy to see a 4 hour one. No deposit, means no guarantee in my book. If more men took care of us when they had to cancel, maybe those same men would stop getting ncns so much too.

If a guy can't compensate for the time he already blew, why the hell would I trust his word not to do it again without getting a deposit? I won't.

As for providers setting appts. just to cancel, I never really dealt with that much but I get refs too. They could of course get guys to set them up just to fk with a girl, but that's why there should always be a Plan B. I won't assume any appt. is going through without a deposit...period!

I am not saying you're wrong here dude...I agree with you in this case. Had she not been such a biaatch, she may have gotten something out of it. I am simply saying what other men do, and all the freaking time. Your issue may really have been an emergency and truthful, but that's rarely ever the case. It's always the "I have to go to work" bs, and then another provider tells you she saw him for 200 off lol. She can keep him for that rate too.
