BECAUSE YOU WILL ONLY HURT YOURSELF IF YOU CHOOSE THESE IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVORIES.
Irresponsibly not wearing a mask means you may infect and hurt an innocent person. This is the big difference here. So practice social distancing, wash your hands often and WEAR YOUR FUCKING MASK...

You should mosey over to Jackie S.'s Real Truth About Masks thread and put in your two cents. I could use some company. I think I'm the only sane one there right now. Well, maybe Ripmany too, but that's debatable.

I'll do what I can over there tiny, but not tonight. I've had way more than enough blatant stupidity for one night

Dude you can go to places where masks are mandatory and avoid places where they are not.
I lived in the DC metro area and could socially distance and feel safe if I chose to do so, up until I lost my job. But I'm assuming you're in a better situation where you could protect yourself if you wanted to.
I now have a remote job I just started this week. I will probably be doing lots of social distancing. It's not very difficult. However, if someone decides they would like to attend a social gathering, even while not wearing a mask, I don't care to scream at them or forcefully impose my will upon them. I simply don't attend the social gathering in order to keep myself safe.

I'm not anxious to jump into this disagreement between you and Jam3768, but this is interesting.
I agree with you. Helmets are a pain in the ass, and a lot of people don't like seatbelts. But if I'm going to potentially get stopped by the police and be fined, even if it's not a lot of money, I'm going to use them and be safer for it.
Also, taxpayers are responsible for maybe 35% or 40% of healthcare expenditures because of Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, and expenditures by the states, cities and counties. So if somebody gets banged up in an accident, often times we're going to be on the hook.
My question, why doesn't the same reasoning make sense for masks? Governor Abbott's mask mandate here in Texas makes a lot of sense IMHO.

But no. As usual you twist what someone intelligent has to say so it fits your little warped narrative.
At least you're consistant

"1/4"?
You have touched on LM's "reality"! It's all about him!
When he runs out of accounting work for private enterprise in the U.S. from the crushing and oppressive "shutdowns" and the Kumola Bandits raid on his "retirement fund" to "re-image" the wealth in this country by supporting the CommunistSocialist programs championed by the Idiot-Five, we won't know because they will have shut down this site based on the theory that it dehumanizes females by preying on their "weaknesses" for earning a living.
I forgot to mention: The "safe and healthy" workplace standards they will impose to justify their "home inspections" and the "health inspections" implemented by the "New Universal Healthcare"! (If he says it won't happen, that's all you need to know!)
37 "Henrys" is an "unhealthy living condition"!!!

what happened to your conviction, that Democrats ("ruling elites") would immediately declare the virus was muted, no concern, right after Biden was elected?
and by the way, remember when Y'all said Biden would never accept the election results? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Biden hasn't been elected yet. Fat Stacy hasn't conceded her race either from a few years ago.
Yes, people have said "kill", "eradicate", "eliminate" the virus. They also say "flatten the curve." Have your memory checked.

The virus isn't a hoax. The affect of the virus is. Remember when "experts" said how deadly it is? They are still using those numbers to weild power over us.

Uber drivers are required to wear masks. My guess is some "professional drivers" like delivery drivers are also. I'm talking about drivers who obviously are not doing either.

I'm also hearing about "home inspection" and "required vaccination". One Progressive FB friend said that "Unless you can produce vac paperwork, you shouldn't be allowed in store!"
Gunfire is coming.

Well, heard on the radio this morning that Toronto is about to lockdown for four weeks. Let's wait and see how productive that is a month from now. Time will tell in a city that size whether it is a good result or a complete waste of time.
