Backlash for posting - About two years ago I posted a thread sharing some new pics, I was out of town. The guys hopped on and bashed me for using that section for advertisements even though I was not in that city nor did I plan on being in that city within the next month. After that I stopped blogging for a while in Austin. Why do I say Austin? Because I posted the same blog in San Antonio and got a great response. Back lash did effect me... I still rarely blog on this board.

How I would like to be treated - Of course the simple answer is, with respect. If you are respectful to me then I can take it from there and guarantee it will be all smiles from there... I am a sweet girl and just ask for you to remain a gentlemen. You don't have to pull out my seat when I am going to sit down. You don't have to hold back if you have a potty mouth. Just don't bad mouth me or be rude...

Good question.

It would be nice if others chime in and discuss this topic. Often times providers get bated into deflecting the personal attacks and the topic of discussion gets derailed. Most don't want to put a target on their back. They find it difficult to stay on topic with the intermittent kiddy/elementary playground games some posters like to play.

Even though this thread was carried by only a handful of people, there is still some good arguments to read and some behaviors to reconsider. I think the great majority of civil respectful people of this board (yes I have faith most people who read this thread have some compassion) get it.

EJ & I often agree on base points but differ wildly on the degree of impact. IE she thinks a thread might cause a Hoogar to commit Hari Kari (far right). While I think it might cause one to throw a hissy fit (far left).

I DO agree most Hoogars won't join a topic like this because of perceived backlash to their input. Which unfortunately is probably accurate. I personally find a Hoogar who debates MORE sexually exciting than one that can't keep up. (Intelligence is Sexy).

However...EJs hope and expectation-as is OPs-is to shame me and other like minded mongers into not having fun here. And that's just not going to happen... Fact is it probably motivates me to come up with more ideas.

Again...no rules are being broken that I can tell.

What I love are the ones that laugh about the content (see Nikki for instance) & roll with the punches.

Or the super savvy who adjust rates accordingly (Eryn), and reap the financial windfall while laughing at the ones getting passed over $20-$40 difference.

I'm sure you would like everyone to kiss your ass and let you dictate public opinion. You fail to see that even the ones who "roll with the punches" could be playing you and secretly think you are ridiculous. At least you know where I stand. A smart person would see that as an advantage.

I wouldn't worry about those attesting me. I would worry about those who support me when even I know I am being quite obnoxious.

I don't have beef with you. While I can take most of what you post with a grain of salt (even you till mocking me in other threads today, who cares just makes you look even more insensitive); I will reiterate: I am starting to find your "having fun" rather destructive. If you can't see that even the passive ones will start to question your intentions with all of your defensiveness and what you think is funny banter, you're are not really fit to be as influential/powerful as you think you are with the hobby standards you are trying to implement.

Again, I never had a problem with the suggestions of market rate flexibility. I have a problem with people putting providers on a chopping block, scrutinizing her flaws, and trying to bully a provider to question her prices.



With regard to bullying and you thinking I think people will commit suicide because of what you say: yeah right! I am saying if someone is unstable you never know how your little bit of "fun" can impact them. You don't understand. You choose to continue to be heartless and say detesting you will only make you want to keep posting in the manner your supposed light hearted humor had devolved to. It's no secret when people make EEEEEVERYTHING into a joke, it doesn't always come from a place of trying to be light and funny. It's often hiding something deeper and darker. There is something to be said for people who can't adjust to climates of humor and seriousness and admit they are emotionally flexible. I know of at least 2 deaths on these boards over the years where people have been unstable, scrutinized, and tail-pinned down to the "greatest sin" (for lack of a better term). Funny how the same people who might have been tactlessly teasing are the same ones in the R.I.P. threads. I think if we had more respect for the living we wouldn't have to front like we care about the dead (even though its much easier to do that).

I don't know why I keep going back and forth with you Toyz. The feelings this thread had me experiencing yesterday have worn off and I don't want to go there again. I am sick of you posting short inaccurate summaries to my posts. It makes people who don't have the time to read my thorough arguments misunderstand the issue. The guys that feel the need to point out the flaws of girls they have no intention of seeing anyway-for whatever the reason are motivated by 1) hatred 2) jealousy or 3) for business/money reasons. Most of them are just hurt and angry that they have to pay for sex...and for many of them they have rarely known affection that wasn't paid for.

As for the others that get involved for business/money reasons, it could be a situation as simple as they have a crush on a girl and want to do her a favor by talking shit about the competition under the guise of just being a guy that tells it like it is.

There's also the more sinister angle of pimps and wanna be pimps trying to scare lurkers away from their girls' competition.

The bottom line is that it's mean, petty and weird to make threads and games out of bashing a provider's looks, work ethic or anything else. To continue your McDonald's analogy, these threads are like if a small group of guys didn't even eat at McDonalds but they liked to hang out in the parking lot and "exchange info" about how poor quality or over priced the food there is. Then these same weirdos go home and create blogs, games, surveys entirely about the McDonald's experience. It makes no sense to do that kind of thing unless you have a vested interest.

There are less abusive places to market yourself online and as providers realize that fact I wouldn't be surprised if some of these guys are just stirring the pot in the hopes of increasing unique hits on the zillion ads they have on this site.

Some people over pay for things, some people are bargain hunters, and some people just get kicked out of establishments and asked to never come back, b/c they don't know how to be respectful of FREE "open market" and take their business somewhere else.

We are humans in which our beauty and worth is determined by us and the people who choose to see us (over and over, might I add). The subjectivity of what is attractive is so fickle amongst people. Some people need to get over it and understand that their opinion is in the sea of stinky you-know-whats.

Lets say Mc Donalds was charging $15 for a burger. We all know that's not right. Everyone would catch on and be like hell no we aren't paying that. That meet is nasty. However, you are picking on humans. Sentient beings, not inanimate objects. Providers with good reviews and most of all, FEELINGS..... you know, consciousness & self awareness.

If a lady's business is suffering she will know what to do with her rates.

There are other reasons why a ladies rates might be inflated. Maybe she is weeding out what she doesn't want (like people who pick on others every flaw). Maybe she is very low volume (which clients like). Maybe she's going to school or working on other projects and her time is more precious to her. Really what do any of you care. She's not paying your bills. She isn't indebted to you. Just find a girl in your price range and stop making fun of people who are trying to make a living and most importantly, trying to please you.

Hell, I didn't mind the:

if you are slow drop your prices thread;
so much as the, majority of the comments in your, price is right thread.

Honestly the couple of handfuls of guys being cruel in the price is right threads are just doing themselves a disservice by posting such nasty things about providers. I'm glad there are a couple of people who will actually speak up and voice their disagreement. I bet there are more where that come from, but they just don't want to get into it b/c it really doesn't matter. Everyone is going to do what they do anyway.
